“Una buena experiencia. El hotel no está tan céntrico en Hamilton, pero está a unos 20 minutos caminando de la calle principal. El área es segura, tranquila. “It's pretty much one of the least expensive places to stay in Bermuda. That being said - it is next to a very cute diner with excellent food at fair prices. It has a full size fridge and stove. Railway Trail runs along the north side of the island. As you walk, you'll go in old train tunnels, walk under tropical canopies, and stroll on the grass "sidewalks" until the trail picks up again. There are great views of the ocean, homes, and plants. In Bermuda, you are allowed to paint your house the color of your choice but the roof must be white. This is because there is no fresh water source on the island so each home harvests rain water to use in the home. The water is stored under the house in large tanks. But why white? The white used to be from lime mortar that has anti-bacterial properties, now the the roofs are painted white which reflects UV light from the sun and helps purify the water. If I had a house in Bermuda, it would be teal!
