Poor communication from host, poor amenities, property not maintained. Waited an hour for the host to give us the door code while the groceries melted in the car. No tv (just a mount) in the master bedroom. Kitchen had very few cooking items. No baking sheets and the pots/pans were old and abused. The ice maker/water on refrigerator didn't work. No disposal in the kitchen sink. Only having one bathroom on the main floor (other than the master) was challenging. There were no instructions on how to connect to WiFi or what to do with garbage. No check out instructions either. The only reason I gave two stars is because the property was so beautiful.

Overall my family and I had a very pleasant stay. We had a small issue at first arriving to the property but the host took care of everything right away. I highly recommend this house the lake is stocked with bass and guarantee to catch something. Very fun getaway

Details, details, details

This property was one of the best I have ever stayed in. The attention to details, beauty, cleanliness & spacious housing made this one of my absolute favorite ever. We stayed here due to my daughter, getting married at The Grand Ivory in Leonard. I would highly recommend this for any family families coming from out of town for this reason. This house has the best hosting areas imaginable. Waking up and seeing the gorgeous sunrise over the back pond was a wonderful change for a city girl. Anyway, I wish I could’ve stayed a few more days to enjoy the peaceful country life in a beautiful house

Lots of challenges

Very nice property but many challenges or issues. Upon check in, there was a dead animal outside the front door that we had to remove and there were crickets everywhere. They ended being all over…inside and out. The AC was not working and did not for the entire time. The host was very responsive and sent a tech out but the entire process was multiple hours and never was resolved so there was no AC for our stay and the home was very warm. There were broken items in the home and also there was no toilet paper to use the restroom. We had to go buy our own. There was a fire pit but no wood to use it with. There were other small issues but those were the main ones. At the end of the day, it was not the experience we were looking for.

Quick Wedding Trip

This property was perfect for our group to attend a wedding The house was beautiful and we enjoyed the back patio overlooking the pond. The next morning we had coffee and watched the geese fly into it. The details of the house were amazing.

We really enjoyed the place. Only problem was outlets didn’t work in bunk bed room. Wished we could have had the dinner there without a huge extra fee. We truly enjoyed the house but it was too cold to enjoy the outside.

Amazing and kind host and owner

This location was outstanding. Very roomy, furniture was comfortable beds were all perfect. The owner and the host went above and beyond making sure our stay was the best it could be. I highly recommend this location absolutely gorgeous!!!

A little under stock with some items, for example in the kitchen. More detailed instructions on checkout would be helpful. Owner / manager of property is really nice, helpful, and easy to work with. Property is beautiful. Will stay again, for sure, if back in the area. Great value for the price.

Beautiful home on a lake

We had a college reunion over the weekend. Everything was perfect. The house is beautiful and was clean and impeccable. The host was very prompt in answering all our questions. Everyone had a wonderful time. This is definitely 5 star rated.
