  • Pristine apartment decorated in time period and located above 1906 General Store in the quaint Village of Gold Hill, NC. The setting is out of a storybook, with a picturesque landscape, cabins and shops including antiques, pottery, home decor, a cafe, a florist, a bakery and a restaurant, all within a very short walk. There is a community arbor, a park (great for wedding venues), old mining trails, and a donkey right next store! Step back in time and enjoy the original gold mining town of Gold Hill, NC!

The most adorable and cozy rental. So clean and comfortable. Had all we needed. Loved the thoughtful decor. Felt like we were in a dollhouse.

Weekend Stay in Gold Hill

We opted to stay at this location for a wedding that we had nearby. Check in was smooth and the property was extremely clean with the hosts being gracious and nice. Will 100% stay here for a weekend getaway again!

Perfect location for visiting our retired friends who recently moved from the northeast. The fireball popcorn was a great housewarming gift! Disappeared rapidly. We will be back again when we visit our friends in the future.

This property is great - so charming - and the host is friendly and available whenever you need her. There isn't much around to do or eat, but it was very convenient for our visit to Pfeiffer University.

Hidden gem

Adorable little apartment in a wonderful location for rest and relaxation. Lots of small shops and a great restaurant just steps away. Host was nearby and very helpful. Highly recommend.

This location was a perfect get away. Cute shops and quaint neighborhood. Owners were so friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean and in great shape! I can’t wait to return!

We selected the apartment since it was in the country and would make us feel at home. The space was all we needed as we attended an event in Denton and explored Gold Hill. We enjoyed being able to walk around the town, do some shopping, met a few locals and had a comfortable place to stay. The visiting hummingbirds on the front porch/deck of the apartment were a joy to watch. The owners made us feel very welcome and were available to us if needed.

Unique stay in Gold Hill

The apartment is the perfect place to stay in quaint Gold Hill. Dana was an excellent host. I appreciated the bottled water and the coffee for the Keurig machine. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

We absolutely LOVED staying here!

This was an amazing stay! Everything was clean. The air worked perfectly, shower was perfect, bed was perfect! This place lived up to our expectations and more! The town itself is so cute and everyone is so friendly! I would definitely recommend staying here and will again if we visit the Charlotte area!
