  • The Little Red Oyster House on St. Clements Bay is a 3 bedroom , 2 bathroom cottage that sleeps 6 guests. This picturesque, waterfront cottage is the perfect place for you and your family to unplug from the stresses of everyday life for a long weekend or extended stay. You will wake up to gorgeous sunrises, enjoy afternoon breezes and spend peaceful evenings by our cozy outdoor fire pit.
    Guests can enjoy sweeping views of the bay and Potomac River from the fully furnished living room, dining room, kitchen and enclosed sunroom. The cottage has a brick patio with a table and a gas grill. A picnic table is set under a beautiful cherry tree for your crab feasts!
    Extra outdoor furniture, kayaks, canoes and yard games are steps away in the shed for your enjoyment on and off the water.
    The cottage boast a beautiful master bedroom with gorgeous waterfront views and an en suite bathroom with double sinks and a shower. The second bedroom (queen bed) and a third bedroom (twin trundle beds) share a second bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The open concept living area is perfect for lounging around, movie or game night. Our quaint kitchen and dining area are fully equipped for easy dining.
    To satisfy your more adventurous side, you have direct access to the calm tidal waters to fish, collect sea glass or paddle to Newtowne Neck Park, St Clements Island or grab dinner and a drink at Morris Point Restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay here! The house is beautiful and in a beautiful location and we loved using the kayaks and stand-up paddleboard! We will definitely be interested in staying here again!

Beautiful waterfront property with plenty to do and a stunning view. The house was clean, organized, and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay—the only problem was having to leave at the end! Highly recommended.

The Little Red Oyster House was clean, perfectly maintained, and well-appointed. Even the baseboards were fresh and clean! You really can't get the full appreciation of the location just from the photos: the bay, the sunroom, the upstairs bedroom with the amazing view need to be seen in person. The furniture was comfortable and in good shape. The bathrooms were fresh and supplied with anything you could need (and more). Canoes, life jackets, paddleboards, etc. were provided as well. Any questions we had were answered quickly by the super-polite hosts.Please note that you will need to drive in on a short section of clay dirt road and the house does not have a dishwasher.

Amazing home on the water. Super peaceful place with a private doc. The owners are super friendly and provide you with anything you may need during your stay. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time!

A Relaxing Getaway

This was our fourth time staying here. As always, we felt a welcome sense of familiarity as we walked through the door and saw the St Clement’s Bay through the windows. The whole stay was peaceful and beautiful. Thanks again for opening your home to us.

Family get-away chill time

Best VRBO or ABNB we've ever stayed at! Spotlessly clean and so organized to make everything easy for us to enjoy. The shed full of water craft is wonderful. Also, we didn't know the area at all and found Lewisburg to be great for dinners. I highly recommend this property

Beautiful and peaceful getaway

The property was beautiful and the location is peaceful, secluded, and relaxing. We loved the sun porch with a beautiful waterfront view of the bay. Perfect place for a quiet and relaxing stay while enjoying beautiful views and nature. We would definitely stay here again. House was spotless and lovely decor. Very comfortable and hosts provided lots of amenities and information about nearby restaurants and shops in town.

Outstanding and beautiful house!

Totally enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Completely supplied with all the amenities, beautifully decorated, perfectly clean and charming home. We loved just sitting on the pier admiring the lovely view and sea birds. Great sunroom to enjoy the view also. Looking forward to coming back.

Family Getaway

Property was perfect for a quite getaway. House and grounds were all well cared for; neat, clean and well shocked. The riverside firepit is a wonderful to spend the evening.

Girls weekend on the water

My friends and I were overwhelmed by the water view . We loved the attention to detail with the basic items provided. We loved sitting on the dock and out by the fire pit and enjoying the same view from the sunroom. We can’t wait to come back!

Hard to imagine we could wish for anything more the place ( indoors and outdoors) were about as perfect as anyone deserves. Seems like they have been very thoughtful about anticipating whatever a person would need. One petty thing would be a light over the kitchen sink.Wanting to stay longer and longer and longer would have been the desired long term outcome.

Wonderfully peaceful

Our stay was absolutely beautiful. The home is perfectly organized, clean and so very well thought out. Diane and Harold have thought out everything you would want or need during your stay including lovely extra touches like fresh flowers and snacks. We used their kayaks and fire pit and loved reading in the sunroom. We hope to come back again!
