Wouldn’t stay again. The pillows smelled musty, the bathtub was disgusting with tons of mold, and there were several bugs. Booked this place because of the good reviews, but they are definitely suspect. The host reached out to me outside of the platform asking for a good review saying, “we’d appreciate 5-star review from you. If there’s anything holding you back from leaving a 5 star review, please let us know and we would be happy to work to rectify this for you prior to leaving a review”.Petty talking points:-one cheap night stand next to the king sized bed…-where are the outlets upstairs?-uncomfortable couch-why so many dead bugs?-why is there a sign about the broken fire place? Fix it or block it off.-hair in the bathroom (not mine)-don’t look under the mattress cover if you want to have a good time.Not sure if they were compensating unhappy people, but my experience was not indicative of what the reviews said. TLDR: This place could use some love and cleaning. Wouldn’t recommend.

Cute and cozy!

Booking was so easy and communication was great.Chalet was very clean with extra pillows,blankets and towels.Definitely dog friendly.They sent us recommendations on local restaurants to eat at.Thank you!

Birthday Getaway

This was a perfect getaway spot for my husbands birthday.We had our dog with us, there were dog dishes and toys for him to play with and use. We were within walking distance of the beach, dining, and shopping. We encountered an issue with the battery in our door lock and maintenance came over immediately to fix it. Over all very cozy and welcoming. We would definitely book again. Thanks for hosting us!

Good but could be better

The chalet was very cute, bed was pretty comfortable and the pillows and comforter gets a 10/10 on the fluffy scale if you like that. There was a large yellow stain on it tho we noticed night number two so unsure if it was cleaned prior to us sleeping. The bathtub drain takes 20 minutes to draining making showers longer due to having to drain in order to wash the ocean water off your feet. Otherwise water pressure was great! The tv internet was touch and go but that’s ok. The path to the ocean was no longer existent. We found that out by some frequent flyers who also couldn’t find the trail that was there a year prior. No worries tho we just walked a few blocks to the entrance. We still had a blast and will be back. Just a few things to work on.

Great weekend!

Wonderful birthday weekend with my girls! Great response from owners when we had questions. The man that came to fix the door lock was super friendly. Took some time for the place to warm up but once it did we were comfy!! Close to town, nice walk to the beach

The bed mattress was terrible. The stairs to the loft(which we were warned about) are very steep. Otherwise this was a great property. It is very small but definitely comfortable until bedtime.

We stayed here on our way to Oregon. We were sorry there was only one day If we are ever back in this area again we will definitely stay here. It was clean, had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable.

Nice hidden on plain sight place close to the action

We were down for the Roanoke Conference and a few more days to explore the area. Good location to the activity centers. Also a good base to explore the area. Took a few hours one day and drove North passed Moclips to the end and back. Another day we drove around to Westport and then another day trip to Long Beach/ Cape Disappointment, then to Astoria for dinner and back. About a 2 hour drive each way. Lots a good places to eat as well. The property is a bit dark at night, easy parking at the unit with some overflow. Bed upstairs, stairs a bit steep but not bad with a sturdy handrail. Fireplace is decommissioned so no fires, not a problem for us just a FYI. Quiet units, duplex back to back each building (2 units each -5 buildings) continue to upgrade, one duplex was getting new power line in with upgrade. Clean and apparently that allow dogs but no smell that we noticed. Didn't need the blackout curtain upstairs at night in the winter only source of light on summer would be setting sun.... From our unit.

Taking a break

I was looking for a couple of days to just relax, listen to the waves, walk on the beach and still go back to a peaceful place to stay. This place fit the bill: very clean, well equipped and the best bed pillows ever! Thank you!

Although the stairs were described as step, it was steeper then anticipated and the steps are so narrow so have to really walk down sideways. Black out curtains in loft dodnt cover the rail provided. Flooring uneven in bathroom. Bed was incredibly uncomfortable...very hard and we barely slept. I wound up sleeping on the couch. Neighbor appears to be doing construction on property beside so our view was a kubota tractor :( For the cost per night do yourself a favor and find another place. Oyehut rentals when we were there were only like 20-30 more a night

Quiet Birthday Escape

ENJOYED our time here with our dog. The unit was just as described. The stairs were a bit steeper than expected, but no problem to take it slow on the way down. Great communication and easy check in and out. Thank you for a great two days.

Cute Spot

Such a cute place! The treats left for both people and pets were so thoughtful! The beach was a short walk away, with plenty for my pup to discover along the way. It was peaceful & quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Other than initially having trouble unlocking the door(purely operator error, lol), I couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy a relaxing birthday getaway. We will definitely return@

Really enjoyed they had a fridge and oven and all the things needed to cook with. also found puzzles in the drawers was a nice touch, and a basket of goodies to snack on. overall very nice felt like staying at home instead of a hotel feeling... Ok for the not so good... everything seemed nice... but then I found hair in the bathtub and it was a little dirty I don't think it was cleaned before we came, and the pillowcases in the upstairs bedroom had a smell to them... Also not enough fresh towels... because of this type of stay you only get one set of clean towels I would of liked another set of cleaned towels maybe left inside some place we could get too. and last thing upstairs get a little warm during the day a screen on either the window or the door would have been great... I know this seems like a lot of negatives, but they are just the little things I noticed. It was a nice stay with a coffee & donut shop a crossed the street. So not all bad!

Cute little homestead cabin

This place is just what we needed for a quick get away. Felt very homie and love that our fur babies could be with us. Price wasn’t bad for the privacy and location. Easy check in and check out.
