  • A spacious family home nestled in the quiet countryside village of Marcham, but still only a short commute into Oxford City Centre. Perfect for families or small groups of friends. The property benefits from a good sized garden, with outdoor seating and a decking area, the front drive has parking for two cars. A large dedicated workspace is also a key benefit. It is the ideal base for a countryside getaway or a working holiday in close proximity to Oxford.

    4 Bedrooms – 1 x Super King, 1 x King, 1 x Double and 2 x Single, spacious bedrooms with large windows, each room offers comfort and character

    Cosy Living Area– The living room offers plenty of comfy seating, a large Smart TV, Piano and children's games

    Modern Kitchen – Fully equipped with good quality appliances, and plenty of cooking equipment.

    Dedicated Office/Study Room - With two powered sitting/standing desks

    Private Garden – Good sized outdoor space with bench seating and table

    Driveway & On-Street Parking – Private driveway for 2 vehicles (parking one in front of the other) with additional street parking available

    Oxfordshire Countryside – Marcham village is well situated for those looking to explore the countryside, with the Cotswolds to the West and the Chiltern Hills to the East, you are spoilt for choice!

    Excellent Transport Links – Didcot Parkway train station is a 15 minute drive away, with very good connections into London. Oxford train station is a 20 minute drive away. The closest M4 junction is only 20 minutes from the property.

    Please also be aware our garden is maintained on a regular schedule, this may sometimes overlap with guest stays as such someone may need to access the grounds area during your stay. They won’t need to enter the house or disturb you, and the work should be quick and unobtrusive.

    Toiletries and Consumables

    - We provide refillable bathroom toiletries (refilled by our cleaners on each changeover). This helps us reduce waste and minimise our impact on the environment. However, this only works if you don’t ‘borrow’ them. Please leave them behind so other guests can enjoy them too.
    - We also provide a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll. If more is needed there are several supermarkets close by

    - There is a children's climbing frame and slide located in the garden. Guests are welcome to use this, but they do so at their own risk. The owner or property manager cannot be held responsible for any harm or injury caused to anyone whilst using the equipment
    - The top bunk has a weight restriction of 80kg

    Check-in / Checkout

    Check-in time is after 4pm, and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time, as this will cause disruption to the cleaner's schedule.

    My property management team will be available 24/7 via email, or phone to provide any assistance my guests may need.

    Pass the Keys® provides a hotel standard of service for short-let properties. The property is professionally maintained and cleaned, and professionally cleaned linens and toiletries are guaranteed. 24/7 guest support is also available before and during your stay.

    The local community-based Pass the Keys® team personally inspects the property and certifies the home has met Pass the Keys® Property Readiness Standard.

    IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

    The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

    Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
