“We loved this house. It was everything we needed for our stay and location was close to everything! The hosts were easily contacted, quick responses when needed and so helpful! Easy check in and check out process. The outdoor patio was great and very relaxing with a nice breeze, if you have kids the playset was great too. My daughter loved the train set and doll house! Decor is so cute and the house is very clean! If we can visit again we will definitely book again!”

“The hosts were very responsive and answered all of our questions during our stay. It’s walkable distance to the Abita Brew Pub, Abita Cafe (great breakfast!), a snowball stand/coffee hut, the Abita Springs museum and more. Darling house with wrap around porch and nice backyard. “I echo all the 10/10 reviews. We too brought our e-bikes and took several wonderful rides around old Mandeville. The bike trails are the best I’ve ridden. Lake Pontchartrain shoreline is a short stroll away, and there are many nearby eateries and watering holes to experience. The cottage is awesome. The photos in the listing don’t do it justice. It was perfect for our stay.”

“We wanted to get away from the city and into nature and boy did we! Words can’t describe how much fun we had exploring the 200 acres of forest! Lakes, ponds, paths, and sooooo many deer! Our son woke up early every morning to feed the deer - when we left, he knew their names….the owners were beyond accommodating! ”

“Only thing we were worried about was there were no safety locks on the doors to keep our grandson from going out back, where the lake and pool were. We made our own. So if you stay, just bring a little portable lock that you can buy on Amazon. The pool was alittle cloudy. Otherwise the house was awesome, loved the neighborhood. ”

“When a group a family who isn’t related but is more like family than actual family needs to get together for a long weekend, this is the place to stay. We had multiple families stay here, we organized meals to split between all the families, and we had plenty enough room for all of us. The detached cottage was adorable.
