This guest made a reservation for one guest. Our house rules say no parties. The 1st car pulled in about midnight and asked if this is where the party is. A second car pulled in shortly. I went out to see what was up and Tarrance said that he would pay for the additional guests that were not on the original reservation. I asked how many people were coming and he said 6 which is what were in the 1st two cars. Our place sleeps 5. The rate for additional guests that are not on the reservation is $25 per person. I told him that I would permit the 5 additional guests if he paid the additional charges but told him that there could not be any further violation of our house rules. He agreed to this. In the next 15 minutes 5 more cars pulled in. One car had 4 people and another one had 5 people. I did not see how many were in the other 3 cars. I would estimate that there were at least 20 people that showed up for a reservation of one – possibly a lot more… 4 cars had a total of 17 and there were 3 additional cars…. I called VRBO and asked them what I should do and they said to be sure and document everything with photos. I took photos of all 7 cars and uploaded them to VRBO. They also told me that since Tarrance violated the house rules we could ask him to leave. I told him that all but him needed to leave. He argued about it for a while. About 3 AM the last of them finally left. I checked the place out after they left. There were white towels with some brown substance all over them. Most of the floor was very sticky and it had to be mopped 4 times to clean it up. We have had over 1000 guests stay at our properties but there has never been a time that someone violated our house rules to this extent. Tarrance never did pay for any of the 19 or more additional guests as he promised he would.

Sorry about the problems with the refrigerator. I understand the frustration that brings! It is possible the previous guests may have turned up the temperature on the fridge for some reason. I did message you with how to set the proper temperature while you were here. Sorry I did not have a refrigerator thermometer that I could give you to use per your request while you were here. I purchased a thermometer to put in the fridge so that our future guests can know exactly what temperature their food is being stored at. I just wish I had thought of it before you arrived! You did tell me that this ice was frozen in the freezer compartment. I am sorry that we could not resolve this late Sat night or early Sunday AM to your satisfaction but there are simply no appliance service places open in this area during those hours. I did pick up a bag of ice for you Sat night at a convenience store and gave you a cooler to use. After you left, I set the temperature of the fridge per the instructions I gave you and it has been working fine ever since. Sorry for the inconvenience and frustration. This is something we never want our guests to have to deal with! So sorry!
