“The stay was great if you don’t mind cameras watching you. Propane tank was empty, couldn’t sit on balcony because straw would go up my ass from the crappy chairs. Stove top was dirty with mysterious fluid. It was what it was. Plenty to do in area. Plenty of undersize crab available- we threw them back.”

“The property lies a couple of streets back from the water front. The drive to the house is via an eclectic variation of trailer homes. The campsite is really quite large. The house was lovely - very clean and spacious. There are three bedrooms, one downstairs powder room and a jack-and-Jill bathroom accessible from the master bedroom and the upstairs hallway. On our day of arrival, we were treated to 2 2-hour training shows, at 3pm and 8pm, from the nearby Naval base, where Hawkeye aircraft...

“We had a nice stay. It was just me, my wife and our dog there were no issues. If you are gong with a family note that the only way to the bathroom is through the master bedroom. And the bed in the master is only a full size. Other than that the place was very clean and equipped with all the necessities. Property management was excellent and checking with us making sure that all was well. Close to everything you need.”

“We had a lovely time, it WAS a shore joy! Honestly the location was great, the house and yard were thoughtfully planned and comfortable. Plenty of places to hand with family and enough little nooks to be by oneself. The home had everything we needed! We hope to return again next year.”

“Cypress cottage was wonderful. Fully equipped is an understatement! It had everything my family needed and then some. Though the house is a little bit away from the main spots and restaurants, it is extremely peaceful and quiet. The front yard is a treasure. Nothing beats laying in the hammock under the shade of the tree in the afternoon after a great day at the beach! Though our family had a house on the island (which was being renovated this summer) we would definitely recommend this...

“We loved staying at Always Sunny -- it was the quiet break we needed. The kitchen has everything we needed and it was easy to get around by bike to everywhere in town. It was nice that there's an outdoor shower and a hose to keep the house clean of sand. It really felt like a home away from home, and we would stay there again.”

“The location was great! Unfortunately we had a few hiccups A/C wasn’t working and thankfully only needed last 3 days but it got hot in the upstairs. Mattresses need some upgrades to be sure and the loft is extremely hard for adults to get in and out of. We did love the location and view.”

“It was our 1st trip to Chincoteague to see the wild ponies. The island was interesting with some amazing restaurants. And the park and ponies are definitely worth a visit.”

“The house was amazing. Spotless, quiet neighborhood, well stocked. The ponies out back were such a pleasant surprise! Loved waking up and having coffee with them. Looking to rebook and bring the kids soon!”

“The room was as presented. Clean and nicely appointed. Some noise from downstairs reminded us of apartment living. It would have helped to be assured that there was no way to get from ground level apartment to the upstairs apartment from inside.”
