Relaxing stay on peaceful Lake

Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed sipping coffee and watching the sun rise over the lake in the morning.

Fantastic location and has a beautiful view of the lake ( from either inside the home or on the decks). My elderly mom was able to get into the home and move around comfortably because of few steps and main living on one level. Host was very responsive to questions and willing to help if we needed anything. Thank you for sharing you home ! We loved our stay.

Nice getaway

We wanted to have a lake side getaway during April vacation with our 3 kids and boy did we pick the right spot! Everything went great - the house was so clean and well stocked, the owner was very communicable with us before/during our stay, the house had a great location right on the lake, and we used the owners kayaks and explored the lake! We book marked this house to revisit again in the future!

Perfect rest time

We made a trip to be with family and friends. The house was much more than we expected. Clean, with a beautiful view of the Lake. The Neighbors kept us company for a moment and it was the most pleasant moment. If the photos are not convenience, I hope this review is. Because we all deserve a weekend like this.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage! It was the perfect size for our group and had everything we needed. The paddle boat and kayaks were a great bonus—both the kids and adults had a blast on the water. The cottage also has a lovely little beach right off the rear deck, plus a dock where the kids could fish or jump in for a swim.My wife and I stayed in the downstairs bedroom, which opened right onto the deck. Waking up to the sunrise and winding down with the sunset over the water was just incredible.The host was excellent with communication from the very beginning and checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend!

August 2025

There were 8 family members, 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs staying at this lakeside home. We found it to be spacious and quite comfortable for everyone. My grandchildren enjoyed the beach area and my son-in-laws took advantage of the paddle boat and kayaks.The one concern we had were the steep stairs going down to the first floor. We were able to manage and work around that but maybe that could be mentioned in the listing or pre check in information.Overall, the home was perfect for our needs as we wanted to be near family for a reunion and wedding. We especially enjoyed the fire pit a couple of nights.Jeremy was a very responsive host!

The cottage was more rustic camp than we were expecting for the price. The amenities and view were good. There is a slight septic odor outside on the decks that came off and on, maybe from a neighboring camp. We had a warm weekend and used the water front for kayaking, that was fine. It just seemed like no one had been there for awhile and the grounds and equipment needed some up keep. When we arrived the neighbor was parked in the driveway and had to move, strange as we were expected.

Loon Pond is clean, pretty, and peaceful.The property manager is cordial and responsive.However, we felt that the property is a lot smaller and more rustic than the pictures and description convey. We also had concerns about the property's suitability for people with mobility issues, or for families with small children. In particular, the interior stairs are very steep, with open treads at non-standard heights, and lack a child-safe railing.In addition, there were some maintenance issues which we have communicated to the property manager.

We enjoyed our stay and loved being on the lake. The registration process was difficult, as the link to the “happy guest” program didn’t work from my iPhone and figuring out how to upload pictures of the front and ack of my license and a picture of me holding my license was time consuming and frustrating. I have never had that kind of trouble before. Also the 1000 damage deposit was not disclosed until after I booked the reservation. Overall the happy guest program felt like it was run by a bot, rather than a person. While I stated my reason for travel as attending a funeral, the “owner” kept writing about having a great and amazing time. Anyway, the house was fine and the location great. The upstairs bedrooms are very small as is the bathroom, and the downstairs bedroom is lovely but getting there involves a steep staircase that can be tricky to navigate.
