Great house, Great location, Great Host

The house was perfect with great access to hiking, Mass MoCA, and dining. Although we did not have any little children in our group, the house has many amenities for young people. Our host, Amar, was very accommodating allowing us a later check-out that better fit our schedule. He was amazingly courteous and helpful throughout the stay. A great overall experience!

wonderful well equipped home in the Berkshires

My two adult children and I stayed for a winter weekend while we explored Mass MOCA and dined out at local restaurants. The owner could not have been more helpful in communications about our visit. The house is high on a hill with views of the mountains, set away from the neighbors even though it is right in town. It is amazingly well supplied with everything for a relaxing stay, including pots and pans, appliances, games, toys, firewood for the fireplace, linens, and lots of charging cords and lamps. Even though we were taking a break from children, we could definitely imagine coming back with young children, as it is all set up with a play kitchen, games and toys, etc. We also enjoyed walking on the rail trail in Adams and visited the Susan B Anthony birthplace museum in town. A really nice getaway for a weekend.

Perfect location for exploring Adams and Mt. Greylock

Stayed 2 nights while exploring Mt. Greylock and the town of Adams. The property is ideally located, just steps from downtown and a short distance from the trailhead. Communication with the property manager was seamless, and the check-in and check-out process were a breeze. The home is spacious and well-appointed. In brief, it was everything we were looking for!

Amar could not have been nicer and was just a great VRBO host. Great communication. Our group was two couples visiting for a MassMoca event so location was perfect. Plenty of room, nice kitchen and family room. Plenty of bedrooms. Thanks for a great long weekend!

A three generation getaway

My grandchildren loved the games and puzzles and digital piano. We enjoyed the location - walkable to town, with a view of Mt. Greylock, and short drive to some hikes, plus MassMOCA, The Clark, and Melville's home.

Perfect for our Needs

I stayed here recently with my family and another few friends to ski at Jiminy Peak. We loved the house, the host and the property. I would easily recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. The house is definitely older but everything is in working order, appliances were new and it helped for us to have a washer dryer available for our needs. Best of all was the accommodating host. Very cordial, welcoming and flexible for check in timing.

Wonderful Family Rental

We loved staying in this clean, well appointed and welcoming home. The owner was fantastic in communicating with us, gave clear instructions, and even had a “housewarming gift” waiting for us on our arrival. He could not have been nicer and more accommodating! The house is perfect for families and well stocked with all kinds of toys and games. Our almost one year old grandson loved the variety. We were there in a snowstorm and the owner kept the driveway and walk shoveled for safety. The only negative is that there is only one small bathroom upstairs to be shared by 4 bedrooms—although there is a separate small full bath on the first floor. This is a little problematic if there are several seniors in your group who might need the convenience of an en-suite bathroom at night, but for young families, it’s very workable. We really loved the cozy wood fireplace in the living room, and the beds were comfy and warm. The cell phone chargers in the bedrooms and living room were a nice bonus. Overall, the house is fantastic and is a great bargain for families visiting the area. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful Sisters' Weekend at Greylock Gables

My four sisters and I were delighted with our stay at Greylock Gables. The home was just as-advertised, and the host was gracious, communicative, and provided us with tons of information about the home and surrounding area (and a welcome basket which was such a nice touch). We went to Adams to view the Fall foliage, and the town was having a festival which was so fun to attend. The town is tiny and adorable and a quick drive to other nearby towns with wonderful restaurants and historical sites. The Berkshires provide a stunning backdrop, and we loved sitting by the fire and enjoying the view of Mount Greylock from the back patio. We would highly recommend this property.

Perfect Berkshire Retreat

Cannot say enough great things about the stay. The check in was easy, the place huge, very clean, and just perfect for our stay. They had great treats and supplies that go above and beyond many rentals. Wish we could have used the fire pit (it rained) but it was in excellent condition and looked like a great time. Host communication was immediate when needed and they were extra accommodating. Excellent location near many of our favorite things like Mass Moca and the Adam’s bike trail. Highly recommend!

Already planning our next stay!

We had a great stay! We all needed a spacious and comfy home with a fireplace- and that is what we got. it had everything we needed and Amar is so responsive. I offered some unsolicited suggestions to make even better? He was appreciative. there was a hiccup with an appliance and he was on it asap! almost do not want to review it - so that we can hide this jewel!

Wonderful stay in a lovely home

We were two families of four, both with kids aged 4 and 6 and we loved this home! The place is cozy and has all of the touches that make it feel like home. Little things like hooks for towels and phone chargers make a big difference! Extra bonus for all of the kids’ toys! The house is very clean and well-appointed. My husband wants me to mention that the fire building gear was excellent. The owner is very helpful and communicative. Checking in and out is easy. We enjoyed exploring Mass MOCA, skiing at Jiminy Peak and a visit to Susan B Anthony’s house. We also enjoyed local restaurants!! Great house and great experience!

Wonderful

This house was a perfect stay for our family vacation! We were on a mission to see snow for the first time and it was centrally located to surrounding areas to venture out. If you are looking for snow in an unusually warm February, this is the house. We found snow on Mount Prospect/Woodford State Park Vermont, only @30 minutes away. Travel south @30 minutes to Bousquet Ski Resort, you can enjoy skiing and snow tubing. We were warmly welcomed with a sweet welcome basket full of goodies. Our two girls 7 and 10 years old loved all the kid friendly additions in the house. Thank you Amar for being an amazing host!!!

We came in for a family ski trip at Jiminy Peak. The house was amazing, equipped with everything we needed and Amar was an outstanding host. Everything was exactly as he had explained.
