This is the second time we stayed at Alpha on the Lake. The owners are very nice and easy to communicate with. It is nice to find a place that can accommodate my husband, myself, our kids, their spouses’ and grandchildren with good sleeping options. A lot of times a place will say it sleeps 12, and the have twin bunk beds and pull out couches. This place accommodates married adults with queen beds. The house also has a well stocked kitchen, with a cute coffee bar. There is plenty of seating for meals and hanging out. A nice little beach area paddle boats, Kayaks, fire pit and a pontoon boat that is also available to rent. We would rent again

The property had everything we could've needed. Well thought out with all the basics and beyond. The game room was enjoyed by the kids and we all enjoyed fishing and boating on the pontoon. Would highly recommend.

Wow. A beautiful home on a beautiful lake. Our family was able to relax and also have a blast here. So many extras, ways for every family member to have a comfortable and fun stay, whatever their age. Kitchen has everything you could need, plenty of indoor and outdoor activities, well equipped bedrooms and bathrooms, and an awesome beach and dock. Place was very clean and stayed nice and cool in the heat. The yard was really nice and the landscape attracted beautiful butterflies and birds. Each of our family members told me separately that they would love to come back so we are already making plans to return! Thanks for a great family trip!

This property is delightful. The house is spacious and the location is peaceful. The home is near one end of the lake so there is minimal traffic on the lake and on the street. Perfect place for all ages to relax and have fun.

We always have a great time here. There is lots to do for the kids, and the adults enjoy the beautiful view and relaxing by the lake. The house is well equipped, and its owners are warm and welcoming. We feel like we’re staying at a friend’s place.

This home has everything you could possibly need, and more! South Lake is absolutely beautiful, with clear, clean water and a nice sandy bottom. The hosts have gone to great lengths to insure that their beach area is free from lily pads/grasses. The view of the lake from the house is amazing. There was plenty of living space for our family of 11! I highly recommend this home!

Wonderful vacation

The lake house is a great place to stay. The entire family had a wonderful time and there is always something to do. The lake house has everything that you need, paddle boats, kayaks, great fishing and a pontoon boat that you can rent. 'There is a fire pit for making some more’s or telling stories. The great kitchen makes preparing meals an easy job. When it is time for sleep, the comfortable beds assure a good night’s rest.This is a great place to stay.

Summer fun

Had a great time with our grown kids and grandchildren. Very well equipped house with comfy sofas to relax on. We rented the pontoon boat which made the week very special. We fished, swam and took sunset cruises on the lake.

This was our second visit. We find it is perfect for our family which ranges from 74 to 4. The location of the house is close to anything you need. The beach is great for the kids and this time we rented the pontoon boat. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Days spent with outdoor fun ending with a fire in the firepit. Perfection

Wonderful

The property is exactly as described. The rooms are spacious and the view is gorgeous, The lake wasn't busy and we enjoyed riding and fishing in the potoon. This is a perfect spot to relax, play a few yard games, and enjoy a fire. We take a yearly family vacation and we will definitely keep this on our list for a return visit.

Lake House Fun

Super Clean! Very spacious. Great for a family - young and old. The layout of the bedrooms was nice and allowed for some privacy. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Everyone had fun with the game room! Nice beach area and fishing right off the dock. Great communication with host.

Lots of Space

House was lovely with enough room for all our family. Angela and Eric were very easy to work with before we arrived. They were very responsive and quickly answered all of our questions during our stay. We also rented the Pontoon boat for our stay. We enjoyed having the boat available during our stay. We have been attending a Michigan football game for the last 6 years. I have family coming in from Chicago, Texas California and Ohio. We all can say this was the best experience we have had. Angie was a great host we had great communication and she made our stay worry free. The house was top notch from the cleanliness, to the location, and the incredible view over the lake. I would recommend to anyone especially if you have children. well done.

Fabulous

This house, I mean home is so clean, beautiful, well stocked with appliances, pots, bowls, furniture, couches and games for a carnival as well as enough movies for a year. I wouldn't look anywhere else for a lake front home. Cannot wait to stay here again.

Family vacation

Family Fun

The house was great. The basement kept the kids entertained every night with a PacMan video game, air hockey table, all kinds of DVDs, lots of games and books. Kids also enjoyed the paddle boats and swim raft.
