Beautiful views near Adelaide & wine country

We stayed at Donna and Cameron's place for three nights while on our "retirement trip" to Australia.Communication with Donna was so easy from the moment that we first booked the accommodation until check-out. Donna and Cameron met us when we arrived and showed us around. They were available for questions throughout our stay, but gave us as much privacy as we wanted.The vacation rental was exactly as described, and was extremely clean. The bathroom has an amazing huge shower with two shower heads--one a rain shower and the other a regular showerhead.We had a loaf of homemade bread, fresh-from-the farm eggs, strawberries, other fruit, tomatoes, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee waiting for us when we arrived--what a breakfast treat!Although the "kitchen area" is small, it has everything you need to make simple meals, reheat leftovers and enjoy the delicious breakfast!The rental is conveniently located close enough to Adelaide to sightsee, but far enough away to be away from the "hustle and bustle" of the city. It is very close to all of the McLaren Vale wineries--you could spend days doing all of them. You can also walk the beach and did I mention that the sunsets were amazing!!!??If you are looking for a place close to Adelaide and wineries, with great amenities and amazing sunsets, this is the place for you.

Lovely little studio apartment with lots of little extras. Tastefully decorated with attention to detaIl. Very comfortable king size bed. Beautiful homemade bread. Donna & Cameron are lovely hosts.

Its the small details that matter

Just the perfect get away. When we arrived, our host greeted us with warm homemade bread and delicious dukha and local olive oil. Everything was perfect. A little Easter treat in the fridge, eggs and tomatoes for break and fluffy towels. Our hosts seemed to have thought of everything, even a straightening iron and hair spray for those of us who like to glam up! They are gorgeous people too with equally friendly dogs. And then there is the view -- for just across the road the Onkaparinga river flows into the might ocean. Perfect in every way.

A wonderful spot for a Mclaren Vale holiday

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was a perfect location for access to Mclaren Vale region. Comfy digs, with everything you need. The hosts provided delicious fresh hot bread and so many little goodies we felt like we were staying with friends. You don’t need to bring anything but yourselves and your clothes. Highly recommend!

Welcoming

Great location for visits to vineyards, historic towns and Adelaide. Early morning walks along cliff top watching sun rising, spectacular. Everything you could want in property, good breakfast, homemade bread and cozy and warm.

Great COVID probation get-away!

Our stay in Cam and Donna's Studio Southport came on the back of Queensland's 3 day COVID lockdown and we thought it nearly wasn't going to eventuate. Thankfully it did and we couldn't have picked a nicer spot or more wonderful hosts. With fresh hot bread waiting on our arrival in SA on a blustery afternoon, what wasn't there to like? Cam and Donna are the type of people one is instantly at ease with. The studio is cosy, clean and airy. The location is perfect. Close to the water, wineries and great little eateries. Loved it here. If we are back in SA, we'll almost certainly come back here.

Small ,cozy and friendly

Impressed with the studio and loved the open fire it was warm ,cozy And very clean. Our hosts were very friendly and couldn’t do enough and beautiful home made bread I recommend it. Take camp chairs and walk across the road and watch the sun go down over the sea
