“The RWY is a beautiful spot and you can easily take the ferry from there to Cremyll (Cornwall) or round to Barbican which opens up access to all the different ferries and tours. The apartment was really good but some things needs to be attended to, the dryer option on the washing machine kept error in out so all clothes had to be hung on the clothes rack to dry, not the end of the world but inconvenient. The oven door isn’t closing properly so lets a great deal of heat out and the extractor fan...

“Overall the property was very clean and everything was brand new. Great location and close walk to every where. Only down fall was the kitchen didn't have as many pots and pans if you wanted to cook a family meal. The iron was not working but we got a replacement the next day. The ceiling in the bedroom upstairs was quite low and became quite warm. The property does not have air con except for a fan in the living room. We took an additional fan with us which helped. I would recommend this...

“The room was quite well proportioned and despite being over the public bar was not noisy. Was close to the bus stop which saved us driving into Brighton and trying to find a park. Meals were good and breakfast very generous. Overall good value for money”

“Great location on The Hoe. Friendly happy helpful staff. Breakfast lovely. Nice outdoor seating area. Room and hotel clean and comfortable. Quiet area.”

“Easy walking distance to Plymouth Train Station, and within walking distance of the waterfront area. Good towels/linens. Decent room size. One thing to keep in mind is that the rooms are NOT air conditioned and the windows barely open two inches. There is a ceiling fan and a small electric fan however. Wouldn’t want to be there during any kind of heat wave.”

“Agree entirely with a previous review. Not an hotel, just a B&B with bar and a very limited menu. The proprietess wanted to talk at us. The son, considerably older than 21, came up to us in the bar and said his mother would be with us soon to serve us drinks. Clearly he was not authorized to. Why? So we waited another 5 --10 mins for her to appear. No hot water in room - neither shower nor wash basin.
