“The most beautiful room we have ever had with stunning sea views and a great roof terrace that gets very busy. The only disappointment we had was the pool which is very small and in a public area without guest lounging space so we felt uncomfortable to use it. The breakfast was fantastic and great value as it was included and the breakfast restaurant area is beautiful, again with lovely views however service was very slow. ”

Excellent clean and well designed accommodation, professional friendly staff that go out of their way to assist you and ensure you enjoy your stay. Delicious food for breakfast and at the 1777 restaurant. Excellent.”

“The Junction is a nice place to stay in Plett. The beds are comfortable, there is Aircon and the style is modern and new. The rooms are not very bright, so not the best place to hang in the day, but absolutely perfect as a nightly base, especially with the block-out curtains. The location is excellent right in the middle of town so you can walk anywhere. Right by Seakrit Spot and Market off Main which is very convenient. I’d stay here again for a short stay of a few nights. ”

“In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa.”

“It is a magnificent property with great facilities. Well located enough. But Plattenberg is a plain soulless residential seaside town. No quality in terms of restaurants. The property is closed to shops, cafés and beach (if you don’t mind the very steep hike back). ”

“Excellent all round! Superb accommodation, stunning views, superb breakfast, secure parking. Worth mentioning is the spacious bathroom, fabulous size shower. One of the very best we’ve stayed at.”

“Die Unterkunft hat Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. Zimmer waren sehr schön und der Balkon mit Blick auf den Centralbeach hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Gastgeber betreiben ihre Unterkunft mit ganz viel Herzblut und bei Fragen hatten wir immer Ansprechpartner und Hilfestellung. Der Pool und die Poolbar ermöglichen auch mal eine kurze Erfrischung zwischendurch. Tsitsikama Nationalpark und Robberg Island sind von hier sehr gut zu machen. ”
