"Although our stay was great and we have stayed here before. I wish that the hotel would do reservations to bring it more update to include better lighting in the rooms and outlets for our devices including some at the bedside table. The place is clean but worn and out dated. A FACELIFT WOULD DO A WORLD OF GOOD."

"A friend told us to visit Roaring River and we were not disappointed. The room was great, the restaurant was great and the wine was great!! If you like dessert, you must try the wine milkshake (I was hesitant but it was delicious), and the funnel cake fries. Both were excellent!! We will be returning!! "

"Lovely stay by a gorgeous stream in the midst of nature. The property was well appointed with thoughtful touches such as frequently used spices in the kitchen and long matches for the firepit, grill and large stone fireplace. A variety of comfortable seating choices for meals and leisurely discussions in the open air. A great place for a couples weekend with friends as each of us had our own "cabin". While we stayed in "Birch" there are others available. The sound of the water from the river through the screened door was magical. The delicious restaurant steps away on an open air porch is also a draw. The restaurant and winery had limited hours which kept everything private and quiet each evening for the guests. Close to Stone Mountain and we also were able to attend a festival in a neighboring mountain town. We plant to come back, for sure! "

"Rent with confidence! My friends and I rented this house for our annual friend weekend and it was wonderful! The pictures don’t do this place justice. The house was clean and big, the views are stunning and Logan was very responsive when we had a question or concern. You need a vehicle with 4WD or AWD to rent this place but, as long as you have that, don’t fret, the hills aren’t intimidating. We would definitely rent this place again! "
