“Handily located in the delightful city of Puducherry, the Atithi is modern and comfortable. It is not a resort hotel but has great staff, spacious rooms and a great roof-top swimming pool. If I had any issues, the pool could do with some shady areas. Cleanliness in the big rooms and bathrooms was generally good though they didn’t seem to often wipe the windows! Quite a lot of smears. Breakfast was excellent.”

“The hotel is in a perfect location- walking distance to everything- and is very comfortable. The staff is excellent- smiling and always ready to help with anything. I took a star off because of some minor annoyances in the bathroom- towel rack in bathroom kept falling off and could not take a shower without holding the button in- if I let go, the water would come out of the faucet, not the shower. A little awkward to say the least. I’m sure had I called down the staff would have attempted to...

“Vi bodde 2 dager på hotellet. Frokost buffé var veldig god og variert. Vi spiste også middag 1 dag og den smakte godt. Personalet var høflige og veldig hjelpsomme. Rommet var rent og komfortabel. Stranden som er ca 500 meter fra hotellet var skuffende. Det ligger mye søppel på stranden og var ikke noe sted å være på.”

“We had booked 3 rooms for attending a wedding. One of the rooms did not have hot water. In the evening we did not have power for 3 hours and the power backup failed.
