Coin Cottage farmhouse on 151 Trail in Nelson County

  • This 1946 farmhouse has been remodeled this recently. Talk about location!!! This home is located within 1 mile of Silverback Distillery, Flying Fox Winery, and Brewing Tree. Fresh paint, new bathrooms, remodeled kitchen and new appliances. All new beds, mattresses, linens, and kitchen supplies. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything necessary for a fun meal with family and friends. The home has 3BR/2 full baths, LR, DR, Kitchen, and large family room downstairs. The master bedroom has a king and a day bed and the other two bedrooms each have queen beds. The house offers 2 decks on the back of the home for outside fun and includes a large gas grill. There is a small swing set area for children. There is also a large fire pit with chairs. Finally, there are outside games for fun and entertainment. We have everything you need for a great stay with family and friends in Nelson County while enjoying all that the area has to offer.

Perfect Adult Getaway

Gurus winery trip

Great location to the local wineries which is why we were in town. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening as well.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The house was comfortable and in a great location—convenient to the breweries along Route 151. The master bed was very comfortable, though the other two couples found their beds less so. The layout was a little unusual, as the shared bathroom required closing off the master with a barn door that left a small gap at the top. It wasn’t a big issue, but worth noting. The basement TV area was a nice spot to relax and watch some sports, and the fire pit was fabulous for evenings outside. Not a fancy place, but it had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

Fall Weekend in Aston

We had a really nice stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the backyard deck and grill. Our host Sarah was very responsive to our questions and we would recommend staying at this property.

Afton retreat

We have stayed here in the past and plan to come back. We've always stayed during the colder months, but there are plenty of amenities for families that want to stay in warmer weather as well. Convenient location. Everything is updated and the beds are luxuious. Excellent wi-fi.

Great location

We enjoyed our weekend exploring local wineries and breweries and this was the best location. Nice fire pit as well. Great downstairs game room with tv. Would definitely rent again

This sweet farmhouse in Nelson County was perfect for our women's' weekend away. The house is roomy and comfortable. Linens are delightful. The kitchen is well equipped - we prepared a cook-together meal easily. The setting is rural; the road the property fronts is fairly busy at peak hours but not so much other times. Several wineries and breweries are near by. For a relaxed weekend we had everything we needed.

Annual Reunion

The home was spotless and cozy! And perfectly situated near many wineries and breweries. The area was gorgeous and we appreciated all the suggestions from the owners on where to go to eat. Thanks for a great trip! We will be back!

Wine trip

This house was perfect for our return trip to VA Wine Country---very cute, clean, and convenient to places we wanted to visit! Beautiful outdoor space which we used a lot, too! Owner was easy to communicate with. We would definitely book again.
