  • This magnificent two-bedroom villa offers an extraordinary view of the mysterious Libyan Sea. From the moment you step inside, you'll be captivated by the impression that Africa is just a few miles away. The villa also boasts a stunning view of the famous village of Plakias, and there's nothing between you and the infinite blue expanse of the southern part of Crete.



    Situated on a hillside, this villa's privileged location is perfect for any visitor seeking breathtaking sea views and relaxation. It's conveniently located just 1.5 km from the renowned sandy beach of Plakias. The interior decor is simple and minimalistic, while the exterior areas offer a high level of comfort. The villa is visually appealing from every angle, whether you're relaxing in the living room or by the pool area, where you'll never tire of watching the blue of the southern sea and the romantic sunset.



    This brand new, one-floor villa accommodates up to 5 people. As you enter, you'll find a spacious open-plan area consisting of the living room, the indoor dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with top-quality fixtures and appliances. The living room area has direct access to the veranda and the pool area. The villa features two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. There's also a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. All bedrooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning and flat-screen TVs.



    When it comes to beautiful beaches, the area is privileged with some of the best in Crete. The nearby famous beach of Preveli, with its palm forest, and Damnoni, are just two of the many unique choices. Majestic gorges and numerous historical and cultural sites can also be found in the vicinity.



    The nearby village of Plakias is a picturesque village with a wide range of tourist attractions and is located just a few kilometers from Rethymno. It offers many taverns, restaurants, bars, mini markets, car rental agencies, and outdoor activity providers.



    Next to this villa, there are two more identical two-bedroom villas, each with complete privacy, sea views, and the capacity to accommodate up to 5 guests. When all three villas are rented together, special prices apply, accommodating up to 15 guests in total. The villa is licensed by the National Tourism Organization.

Der Blick ist umwerfend, der Service unaufdringlich und nett. Ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig. Die Küche bräuchte eine Renovierung, bzw. Aufarbeitung, da wir aber immer auswärts Essen gehen, ist dies eigentlich kein Thema.

Hele fijne villa met schitterend uitzicht

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in deze villa. Villa nr3 heeft heel veel privacy en een schitterend uitzicht deels over de bergen en deels over de zee. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien, alles is er. Keuken werkt prima evenals de airco’s die in alle kamers hangen. Zwembad is lekker, niet te groot maar voldoet zeker. Het plaatsje Plakias ligt op 10min rijden en heeft winkels, supermarkten, restaurants en een mooi strand. Strandbedden kan je huren voor 8euro per set per dag. Een huurauto is een must, ook om de omgeving goed te kunnen verkennen. Er is maar een nadeel te bedenken aan deze villa en dat is de wind. Wij hebben 3 dagen harde wind gehad rond de villa. Geen idee of dit altijd aanwezig is of zo nu en dan? Elke dag is er een schoonmaakster geweest. Maakt keuken schoon, neemt afval mee en houdt de vloer schoon. 1x per week worden handdoeken en beddengoed verschoont. Wij hebben in ieder geval een heerlijke tijd gehad.

Lovely Villa with Stunning Views

Overall the villa is excellent and the views are simply stunning. There are neighboring villas, but they are very private and in no way intrusive. The cleanliness is first class. Somebody came every day to clean the small pool and terrace area and the house was cleaned several times during our stay. The nearby town has an excellent selection of restaurants and bars and the beaches are very clean and not overcrowded, even in high season. A few negative comments to note; there were no instructions on how to turn on the electricity and air con when you arrive. We had to telephone somebody. Also, the air con only works when all the doors are closed (good idea), but the terrace doors cannot be closed from outside so it is not possible to keep the villa cool while you are by the pool (bad idea). The pool steps were very lose and felt unsafe and a broken light fitting in the pool with hanging wires did not feel safe either. We had problems with the toilet, including a broken seat when we arrived and these were not fixed until just before we left. These negative comments should not distract from this excellent villa, I would highly recommend it!

Great villa with great sea view and a private pool.

Location, view, privacy, pool, terrace, strong wifi signal outside. Nice town Plakias. Window to terrace could not be closed properly from the outside, so wind keeps opening the window and the airco turns of due to that. Toilet seat quality. No breakfast toaster. Only 4 knives in the kitchen.

Traumhafte Aussicht

Buchung, Check-in/out, etc. klappten sehr gut. Die Anfahrt erfolgt die letzten paar hundert Meter über eine Schotterpiste. Die Villa besticht durch den unglaublichen Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Größe des Pools war für uns völlig ausreichend. Schön wäre es, wenn es, zumindest im Außenbereich, eine gemütlichere Bestuhlung geben würde. Die Villa ist modern und funktional eingerichtet. Schönes Bad. Ordentliche Betten. Leider die Küche etwas spartanisch. Fliegengitter auch im Wohn- und Schlafbereich wären eine sinnvolle Sache. Leider hatten wir Mitte Juni richtig Pech mit dem Wetter, da es sehr stürmisch war und wir den Außenbereich, um den es ja eigentlich geht, fast gar nicht nutzen konnten und deswegen viel zu geschützten Buchten aufgebrochen sind. Aber da kann ja die Villa nichts für.

Ein perfekter Urlaub in einem sehr schönen Haus. Einziger Nachteil die Küchenausstattung ist sehr dürftig. Für 4 Personen nur 3 Messer. Wäre für wenig Geld schnell zu beheben.

Sehr schönes Haus mit allem war man braucht ...

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in der Pygros Villa verbracht. In den 8 Tagen wurden Handtücher mehrfach getauscht und die Betten frisch bezogen und geputzt. Super Service. Wir kommen wieder !

Bester Ausblick - großzügige Anlage

Das Haus bietet einen phantastischen Ausblick und liegt sehr ruhig hoch am Hang. Die Terrasse ist großzügig und nicht einsehbar. Die Ausrichtung nach Westen ist perfekt, abends lange Sonnenschein. Auch innen ist es sehr großzügig - man fühlt sich nicht eingeengt. Bei starkem Wind, der in Plakias häufig vorkommt, vermisst man auf der Terrasse ein geschütztes Plätzchen. Im Haus fehlt eine Stehlampe, damit man abends lesen kann. Die Duschkabine ist sehr praktisch, könnte aber etwas größer sein.

Wunderschön!!!

Das Haus ist einfach der Hammer! Wir haben die erste Novemberwoche dort verbracht und es war ganz wunderbar. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse aufs Meer ist womöglich noch schöner und beeindruckender, als die Photos das nahelegen, die Sonnenuntergänge sind spektakulär. Man könnte den ganzen Tag nur sitzen und schauen! Das Haus selbst ist super geschnitten und sehr geschmackvoll und puristisch gestaltet, die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Der Pool ist wunderschön und sehr sauber und gepflegt (nahezu täglich kommt jemand, um ihn zu warten…), uns war er allerdings so spät im Jahr schon ein bisschen zu kalt für eine ausgedehnte Nutzung. Die Gegend ist super, es gibt mehrere tolle Strände, man muss aber über ein Auto verfügen. Apropos: die Zufahrt zu Haus ist ein bisschen abenteuerlich, aber man gewöhnt sich gut an das Geholpere. Essen und Trinken kann man sowohl in Sellia, als auch in Plakias sehr fein, alle Urlaubsfreuden sind also in Überfülle vorhanden. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Plakias for the third time

The house is very nice, a bit outdated, but still nice. Especially the terrace with the pool and the wonderful view (which was unfortunately somewhat spoiled this year by the construction site below). The service is very good, as always. As every year: The kitchen equipment is a bit scarce, for example there was not enough cutlery, small bowls or glasses and no big bowls (except plastic ones, which are terrible). It would also be nice to have dishwasher tabs at least to start with. There is too little storage space in the bathroom and also in the shower.

Pyrgos Plakias villas for me 5 star

We spent 5 days at the Pyrgos Plakias villas facility. we were delighted with the location of the facility, on the one hand mountain ranges and on the other view on endless sea. The location of the villa is quiet and charming. We are happy to come next year

Das Haus und alles drum herum war einfach super. Ideal für einen romatischen Urlaub zu Zweit

Tolles Objekt, tolle Lage, ruhige Idylle. Hier kann man so richtig entspannen und sich wohlfühlen. Da wir gerne kochen hätte die Küche etwas besser ausgestattet sein können, zB. Geschirr. Der Service war sehr gut gemeint, aber manchmal störend wenn man gerade aufgestanden war oder in Ruhe frühstücken wollte. Die Zufahrt zum Haus war teils sehr uneben und steinig, könnte man etwas besser befestigen.

Super Unterkunft!

Die Unterkunft ist modern und hat eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Sowohl Ausstattung drinnen und draußen ist tip top. Leider hat uns ein Check-In und eine kleine Übergabe gefehlt. Wir sind zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt zum Objekt gefahren und haben dort nur die Putzfrau aufgefunden, die meinte, dass sie erst in 2 Stunden fertig ist. Es gab auch keine offizielle schlüsselübergabe. Die Putzfrau kommt fast täglich ohne Ankündigung. Das wäre auch nett gewesen, wenn man das ankündigt. Das sind aber „Kleinigkeiten“ im Vergleich dazu wie toll der Aufenthalt war!

Tolles Haus an super Lage

Das Haus ist blitzsauber und mit allem ausgestattet was nötig ist. Der Pool wird jeden Tag gereinigt und unterhalten. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse/Pool ist atemberaubend. Die Privatsphäre ist absolut gegeben und von den Nachbarn bemerkt man fast nichts. Wir haben den Aufenthalt mit Familie sehr genossen und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen. Der einzige kleine Nachteil ist die etwas holprige und steile Zufahrtsstrasse, die evtl. nicht jedermanns Sache ist. Uns hat es allerdings nicht gestört. Man ist per Auto in wenigen Minuten in Plakias wo man einkaufen und abends in den Tavernen essen kann. Es war eine tolle Woche.

Superbe vue !

La villa a une vue superbe, exposée sud / ouest, les couchers de soleil sont magnifique, mais attention, il y a beaucoup de vent à PLAKIAS et donc étant donné la hauteur sur la colline, le lieu est venté. Dans ce cas, il est préférable de sélectionner la villa du milieu la n° 2 ANFIA ainsi elle est mieux protégée du vent et tout de même bien exposée; En ce qui nous concerne nous avons été déçus car nous n'avons pas rencontré les propriétaires. Nous n'avions pas compris que nous passions par une agence et donc cela reste très "anonyme". D'autant qu'il n'y avait personne pour nous accueillir lors de notre arrivée et même chose pour le départ. Nous avons croisé une dame le lendemain, sans savoir s'il s'agissait de la dame de ménage ou de la propriétaire. C'est dommage car lorsque nous allons à l'étranger, nous aimons aussi beaucoup communiquer avec les gens. Il serait intéressant que l'agence revoit également le descriptif de direction pour arriver. En effet, il est indiquer dans le détail que nous sommes arrivés sur place lorsque l'on voit le panneau PYRGOS, mais il y a 3 villas au dessus qui portent le même nom et cela est trompeur quand on habite dans les 3 villas du dessous ! L'agence ne nous a également pas donné le nom de la villa lors de la réservation et comme il n'y avait personne sur place pour nous accueillir et que 2 villas étaient libres, nous étions perdus et ne savions laquelle prendre. Des allemands sont arrivés et heureusement qu'eux savaient dans quelle villa ils devaient aller. Les photos de la terrasse figurant sur Abritel pour la villa réservée ne correspondent pas à celle qui nous était attribuée ! D'où se flou à l'arrivée ! Sinon, la villa est spacieuse et agréable à vivre, même si le mobilier de cuisine est un peu vieillot et que le "fonds de cuisine" prévu au contrat s'est limité à un peu de sucre, de poivre et des filtres à café.... pas de sel, pas d'huile (un comble quand on voit le nombre d'oliviers !) pas de vinaigre. Dommage ! J'espère qu'à la lecture de ce commentaire, les choses seront modifiées pour accueillir sereinement les futurs visiteurs ! Bonne continuation à vous,

So schön wie auf den Fotos. Sehr sauber. Top-Lage nicht weit von Plakias entfernt, aber sehr ruhig.

Die Ausicht ist spitze. Haus, Pool und Garten wurden jeden Tag gereinigt. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden regelmässig gewechselt. Vom Objekt hat man kurze Wege zu den Badebuchten und vielen Wandermöglichkeiten. Mietwagen bei Nutzung empfehlenswert.

Schade Das Haus was wir bekommen haben war in Ordnung u sauber. Nur eben auf 2 Etagen .Und die Beschielderung zu dem Haus war sehr schlecht .

Spotlessly clean and well maintained.

To be recommended to active adults liking a quiet location. Spectacular view from terrace high above the sea. A ten minute drive to a good range of tavernas and bars. Extremely well serviced and maintained.
