    Recently completed, imposing and distinctive 3 bedroom apartment sited on the beachfront “right in town”, yet in an undisturbed quiet locality overlooking a mighty Airlie Bay seascape across to Hayman Island and beyond to the horizon.

    Awake to spectacular Coral Sea sunrises, plan your day’s activities while sipping a cup of tea on the verandah being soothed by a gentle breeze tainted with a tropical scent, stroll to the nearby cafes to a delectable breakfast and follow through to an event filled day, or simply read a book by the pool, or on the beach, or the park by the lagoon keeping an eye on the littlies having fun …..YES, it is all here at the doorstep…..YES, you deserve this break.

    The What To Do’s at Airlie Beach are almost endless:

    Take a day trip to one of the islands and explore…. Hamilton, Daydream, Hayman, South Molle and many others….they’re all here!

Stunning apartment, fantastic location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a little family getaway including our 9-month-old grandson. The apartment was huge and everyone had their own bathroom. Heaps of space inside and on the balcony. The view was amazing and the kitchen had everything you could possibly want. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures (possibly better) and the view from the main bedroom is absolutely beautiful. The location so close to town was great, and right near the lagoon to cool off. We would highly recommend and we will stay there again next time we are in Airlie. The only thing to mention is the driveway is really steep.

Very good, but not great

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was perfectly geographically located - it was opposite the lagoon and in walking distance of everything on the main drag / boardwalk but also the boardwalk going the other way down toward the mirage. On this, it was fantastic. The view was mint. For the price, however, based on our experience styaing at hundreds of airbnb's a few things were probably lacking:- The driveway is so steep that it is impossible for any car to dismount from it without scraping the nose on the bitumen. (Also probably a bit unsafe for some smaller cars if it was wet and mouldy). - There was only one bedside table and lamp in the master bedroom.- The single lamp in the master bedroom did not work. There were no bulbs to replace it (if that is what the problem is).- There was no general cleaning spray.- There was no paper towel.- There were some tupperware lids but no containers.- There were only 4 coffee pods provided for 4 people for a 5 day / 4 night stay - aside from this, there were a couple of international roast sachets. - There was only one bin bag provided.- There were only 4 dishwasher tabs provided for a 5 day / 4 night stay - which is generally sufficient, however when there are kids and major messy lunches, sometimes an additional wash may be required.- There are key locks on two bedroom doors that lock shut every time the door closes - which means your children are trapped in there - could be very unsafe if the lock fails. - There were no bath mats.- Every light in the place has an icy cool globe, making the place very stark and aesthetically cold.

Awesome Airlie Accommodation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What an outlook! From the moment you enter Splendeur Sur La Mer, your directed out to the fabulous ocean views. Very spacious 3 bedrooms, plus ensuite and wardrobe space. Kitchen, dining and lounge areas were very spacious. Everything you needed was available - locked garage space as well. The accommodation is within walking distance to the Coral Sea Marina, as well as the Airlie Esplanade, and Port of Airlie. We highly recommend this holiday rental, and will definately be booking in next time we are in Airlie Beach.
