What a great house! The host made everything so easy and welcoming. House was clean and comfortable and the views were amazing! House was stocked with all of the necessities. Would totally recommend this place!

Great location, right on the lake with easy access to local restaurants as well. Kayaks were a huge plus for fun August family vacation.

Dan was very responsive to all my questions, both before and during my stay. He is very polite and friendly. The house was also very clean, offered plenty of amenities, and was located in a beautiful area with a great view.

It was a great getaway for a few days on the lake. They had 4 kayaks which was nice to go out on the lake with. Overall nice experience.

40th Birthday

Friends gathered for a fun weekend getaway and to celebrate a 40th Birthday. The house was very nice and the listing was accurate. It was great to look out the kitchen window and just see water!

Great Eclipse Viewing Spot

Our group of 8 spent a long weekend in Akron to view the eclipse and this property was great for our needs. The views were top-notch, the amenities were great, and the beds were comfy! We paddled and played and relaxed and had an all-around wonderful time.

Dan knocked it our of the park!!!

The house was very clean, and well equipped with everything I needed. Coffee in the morning Comfy Beds TV’s and Entertainment a beautiful lake with kayak’s. The wildlife was awesome. The communication with the homeowner was spot on, even though I had a lot of questions and requests. I will be staying here again in the future, and if it’s full I’ll use one of his other properties!

Weekend getaway

We decided to take a long weekend getaway at portage lakes and found this property which was in the center of everything. House has been remodeled recently because everything looked great and was very clean and the view from property was amazing.

We had a wonderful time at this property! Such a wonderful view of the lake with lots of activities. The hot tub looked brand new! We had a great time using the kayaks. They also had a pack n play, high chair, and baby gate. Dan was extremely responsive and we did not have any issues! The driveway is steep, however we did not have any issues getting up and down.

Quick family getaway

Enjoyed our stay this past weekend. The kids loved being able to jump in the kayaks and go. We rented a pontoon boat from Dusty Landings and toured the lakes (another great experience). It was nice to come back to a very quiet and peaceful setting.

New Year Vacation

This place was a great start to our new year. We were visiting family nearby and hosted them for a few dinners. My husband and I love to cook and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Dan sent detailed check-in instructions so arriving and entering the property was flawless and communication was great! The lake views from both floors are spectacular! Will definitely stay here again when we are back in town.

Beautiful Lakeside Home

This property provided a wonderful and much needed retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The views of the lake from the home are beautiful especially with the changing colors of the trees this time of year. We had so much fun playing the throwback Nintendo games and couldn’t have asked for better communication with the owners.

Nice Location

This is a cute house and redone very well. Kitchen had what we needed to make meals, and everything was well stocked. It was nice to have the deck off the one bedroom, and beds were comfy. We really liked the open concept of the first floor so we could all hang out. And the kayaking was fun! The yard is not fully fenced for pets as I thought but that was ok we just leashed em. We all loved being so close to lake had a nice fire. Enjoyed the pretty views!

Fun Family Weekend

Kids joined us over the weekend. Enjoyed sitting at the outdoor table and kayaking. Several trips taken. All rooms met our needs. My husband and I stayed the week and the sunrise this morning was spectacular. Do not need to leave bed to enjoy.

Relocation and holiday stay in December

Excellent communication and hospitality by the owners which made us feel welcome and appreciated. Could not have asked for a better rental while house-hunting and holiday shopping combined. We stayed in the winter, but the lake views in the kitchen and bedroom were so nice to watch the snow come down. Long views of the lake with very distant homes across the lake made it seem more secluded though we were in the middle of town. We would stay again and have sent links to others who also might need a rental.

Excellent family stay

The property met every expectation listed. We had an issue with the TV, contacted John, he worked us through the problem. Other than that, we loved this stay and will book again in June for the Senior Golf Tournament.

What a gem sitting right on Portage lakes!

This place was perfect for our family getaway! It was very clean, great location, peaceful, and nicely decorated. Communication with the host was wonderful and check in went smooth. Our family had a blast playing the Arcade game, the board games and kayaking with Kayaks found in the shed. There is a lovely shaded patio with a grill where the family can gather and dine. My husband especially enjoyed fishing right from the yard. We will be back next summer for sure!

A great place to stay on the lake!

We had a great time staying here and will most likely try to book again next time we come to the area for concerts! The house had everything needed for a relaxing stay. Its pretty close to Blossom Music Center and Cleveland so it was the perfect home base for a weekend of concerts and the rock n roll hall of fame. My boyfriend enjoyed the nba jam arcade game and it was really nice to have dinners and breakfast out on the patio by the lake. Driveway is steep but we had no problem getting our subcompact car up and down the driveway and we left the suv at the summit parking with no issue. They had treats there for the pup too which she immediately found and enjoyed. Really great place to stay!
