The Space:

Welcome to your home away from home in beautiful Portage Lakes! From the moment you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a bright, airy space filled with natural light and breathtaking lake views.



The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, along with a spring drinking water dispenser for your convenience. The living and dining areas feature expansive windows, allowing you to take in the peaceful lake views while relaxing with family or enjoying a meal together.



The first floor also includes a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination, plush towels, and luxurious soaps to make you feel right at home.



Upstairs, you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed and a dedicated workspace, perfect for catching up on work while enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The middle bedroom offers two twin beds, while the back bedroom includes a cozy full-size bed.



Step outside and enjoy one of the home's standout features—a beautiful deck and patio overlooking Portage Lakes. With plenty of shaded outdoor seating, there’s no better place to relax and take in the gorgeous lake views. Gather around the fire table as the sun sets, or fire up the grill for a memorable outdoor meal. Whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee, relaxing with a drink, or spending the evening with family and friends, this outdoor space is the perfect place to soak in the peaceful beauty of Portage Lakes.



Guest Access:

You will have the entire house to yourselves. Parking spots for 2 cars. Keyless entry with access code given 72 hours prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Located in the desirable Portage Lakes area of Akron, this home offers a peaceful residential setting surrounded by the natural beauty of the lakes. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxed, making it a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy a slower pace.



On the lakes you can enjoy boating, kayaking, fishing, and beautiful waterfront views. Local restaurants, parks, marinas, and everyday conveniences are all just a short drive away.



While the neighborhood feels tucked away and peaceful, you’re still within easy driving distance of downtown Akron and the area’s shopping, dining, and attractions—giving you the perfect balance of a relaxing lake getaway and convenient access to the city.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended for getting around the Portage Lakes area and exploring everything Akron has to offer. The home is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood, with restaurants, grocery stores, marinas, parks, and other everyday conveniences just a short drive away. You’ll also have easy access to downtown Akron and nearby attractions. Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft may be available, though availability can be more limited than in busier areas. During the warmer months, boating, kayaking, and biking are also great ways to enjoy the area.



Other Things to Note:

NO PARTIES -- There are ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES, events or large gatherings allowed in the home or on the property. We have neighbors who will notify us of such events, and you will be required to leave immediately with no refund and a negative review will be documented. Extra cleanup from the evidence of a party or large gathering may become subject to a $30 hourly extra cleanup on top of the existing cleaning fee.

NO SMOKING -- There is absolutely no smoking of any kind anywhere on the property (cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, e-cigs, vaping, etc.), and if in violation you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund in addition to a documented negative review.

LOCAL GUESTS -- All local (Cleveland-based) guests must have at least 2+ positive reviews to book this property. Local guests must have a detailed explanation for renting due to past negative experiences with local guests (see the no parties/large gatherings rule).

PROPERTY DAMAGES – Any damaged property must be reported to the host. We understand accidents happen, and please make sure to notify the host/co-host if damage to the property occurs. Replacement fees and/or reimbursement for damaged items may occur if needed.

GUEST PROFILES – All guests must have a complete profile (including verified ID) with a profile picture.

EXTRA GUESTS – All guests on the reservation must be included in the total # (please no unauthorized guests without permission from the host).

Early Check in & Late Check out: We can accommodate up to 2 hours early check in or late check out for a $25/hour fee. Please give us a minimum of 24 hours for this request in order for us to organize our schedule.

As a courtesy to our cleaners, any uncleaned vomit and or blood will result in a $100 charge to the guest.
