“Outstanding place. Amazing birds around. If you want quiet and natural beauty this place is amazing. Can use the hotel’s pool/hot springs which were lovely. Host was so kind. So sorry we only stayed 2 nights.”

“Very beautiful and interesting house: the bedrooms are closed off with A/C but the rest of the house is all open-air. Convenient location right in the heart of La Fortuna town so easy to walk and get meals, ATM, groceries, etc. A few quirks:1. There is gorgeous wood on the countertops and coffee tables but you can't set a cold drink directly on any of it, and we were drinking plenty of cold drinks. 2. The alarm system was a pain in the butt. We only had one key card that needed to be in a...

“Magnifique propriété près de la nature située dans un quartier sécuritaire. Propriétaire qui répond rapidement à nos questions. Gros coup de coeur. Merci pour tout!”

“Nice property. Very well situated and quiet. Was pretty clean. Space to park car if you rent one. A toaster would have been a great option to have! Host was very responsive. Would stay again at this property”

“Our family enjoyed our stay at Casa Armonia in La Fortuna. The house was the perfect size for our extended family of nine. Evan and Sylvia were great hosts that responded quickly with any concerns we had regarding the property. We also enjoyed a night hike at Papa's Place, which is conveniently located next door. Soda Tito Rosa, down the road, was a great spot...

“Everything was perfect about the experience. Our host was friendly, helpful and responded quickly. We could not have asked for more. The property was beyond 5 stars! It was clean and a perfect layout for enjoying the area and the volcano views! The location was unique because of the cattle that were so fun to watch outside of the window and the birds were spectacular. The next time we come back we will definitely stay there again!”

“Loved it! Clean and nice place. Very close to Maquique for rappelling and canyoning and Don Jorge’s chocolate farm. Would love to do it all again!”

“Clean with everything we needed in a small kitchenette. Also a few extras like a luxurious outdoor shower! The veranda was a relaxing hangout spot, bring your mosquito repellent. Appreciate the short trail attached to the property, was able to do some short birding hikes. The owner is an amazing gardener, tropical plantings all around. Loved the green orchids — I still have to look them up to see what species they are. Silvia was a great help in explaining the local attractions and made herself...
