  • Live the dream and enchantment of Old New Mexico with a getaway to the charming village of Corrales, voted by Money Magazine to be one of America's top 25 small towns. Your home-away-from-home is a cozy casita guest house, newly built in the historic style with beamed viga ceilings, thick stucco-ed walls, kiva fireplace, and many other authentic architectural details.

    From your own porch/portal or from the bedroom window seat, you can see spectacular views of the rugged Sandia Mountains. A very short stroll away is the romantic Rio Grande River and the beautiful Bosque Nature Conservancy, offering miles of trails for hiking, cycling and horseback riding. A few minutes drive brings you to downtown Corrales, with a selection of fine restaurants and shops. And not far down the road you'll find major shopping and the many attractions of the City of Albuquerque, including museums, theatres, the balloon fiesta park, the city zoo, as well as the fabulous Sandia Mountain wilderness. The famous capital city of Santa Fe is only 45 minutes away with attractions too numerous to mention.

    The casita has a full bath and bedroom suite, while the living room features a fireplace and well-equipped kitchen nook.

Property is charming, with Southwestern decor, lovely porch for viewing the mountains, and helpful host. I strongly recommend this site for a bit of rural living with big city amenities just minutes away. My week-long stay was comfortable with all basic needs provided. A big YES to this property!

Everything was perfect! The casita is beautifully designed, cozy & comfortable. Mary responded quickly to any questions. Plus, walking a few minutes in any direction brings to miles of walking trails.

Excellent Stay

We visited for the thanksgiving holiday and had such a smooth experience from start to finish! The space was beautiful and provided a nice environment for us to relax after our day to day activities throughout the week! I would highly recommend this space to anybody looking to stay in the Corrales area.

Best Ever

This wonderful, charming and comfortable Casita decorated with excellent taste and attention to detail is perfectly located for bird lovers right near the Rio Grand Bosque with a lovely view of a spectacular mountain. Great owner. Loved it!

Perfect!

We were so happy here. We stayed for several weeks while we were closing on a house. Our stay was great. Mary was very responsive. The casita had everything we needed for an extended stay. It is very private and a perfect location. We highly recommend this place.

Exquisite Corrales Cottage!!

So cozy for our annual holiday trip to New Mexico. The cottage is very well appointed — with wonderful bedding and plush towels. A tremendous view and amazing location adjacent to bosque walking trails. Mary is a superb host. We have stayed multiple times and look forward to our next visit!

Home away from home

This casita was perfect for our one-month stay in Corrales. So very comfortable, peaceful and private. Mary was always helpful if we needed anything. We miss the place and her wonderful dogs who greeted us every day.

Great Corrales Location

We were in Corrales, visiting my parents, at my childhood home. The casita gave us the much needed privacy and reprieve from the family, to ensure a comfortable and fun visit. The casita was clean, the shower pressure was awesome, and I was obsessed with the Kiva fireplace. Mary was a perfect host!

Quiet and peaceful.

Very comfortable with great bedding and linens. Southwestern touches like the Kiva fireplace and timbered ceiling welcomed me home to New Mexico. Very private and quiet. Looking forward to a return visit.
