My family was disappointed with our overall experience. The property was spacious and looked great, but we found bedbugs in one of the bedrooms. We put all our clothes in the dryer to kill any bugs, packed up, and left the property. I contacted the property manager the next day to cancel our reservation, provided photos of the bedbugs, and asked for help with other available VRBO properties. There was a several hour delay to talk to the manager, although it was a holiday weekend. No other properties were available. I provided the same report and photos to VRBO. Both the property manager and VRBO agreed to the cancellation and a full refund, which were paid within a week. VRBO declined to provide any compensation for the incident, but they did provide a "goodwill" credit of 200 in OneKey Cash to our account. So overall a disappointing experience. I do want to note that a thorough treatment for bedbugs can eradicate the problem and make this property an attractive stay in Albuquerque. I know that the property manager said they would be inspecting and addressing any problems.
