Very nice hosts, swimming pool very nice. Clean appartment, well-equipped kitchen. Only the bath room could be a little bit more spacious. Overall highly recommended.

Excellente Quinta! Piscine et Figuiers à volonté. Prestation de qualité. Nazaré, São Martinho do Porto et Foz do Arelho facilement accessibles. Nous avons passé une belle semaine à la Quinta Da Mota 2.

Casa de campo

Sentimo-nos num casa de campo com ambiente muito calmo, com muito verde envolvente, apenas se ouvia o barulho das andorinhas. Muito agradavel. Propício para estar no exterior a apreciar as paisagens e fazer caminhadas. Piscina muito agradável fez as delícias da minha filha. Recomendo!

Beautiful Country Getaway

The perfect location to relax while visiting many sites in the area. Quinta Mota II was clean, comfortable, quiet, had everything we needed, and the backyard and salt pool was incredible. From this location it is a short drive to the beach and many sites, we visited Obidos, Alcobaca, Batalha, and several beaches. And then returned for swim and a peaceful quiet nights sleep. Thank you Joao!!

Super séjour dans un cadre très tranquille

De retour de notre séjour de 12 jours dans cette jolie maison, dont la description correspond parfaitement à la réalité. La maison est très propre et bien agencée. 1 balcon avec vue sur la belle piscine et un beau verger, 1 terrasse pour déjeuner. Très calme donc on dort super bien. il faut impérativement une voiture même si la civilisation est très proche, la route voisine n'est pas propice pour une petite marche ! idéalement situé pour visiter le centre du Portugal tout en profitant de la mer (on a préféré Roz de Arelho à Sao Martinho, plage plus abritée du vent) Même si les propriétaires ne sont pas présents pour nous accueillir, ils restent à l'écoute de vos éventuels besoins. Tout petit bémol, aucun équipement de base, type poivre, épices, huile, etc... Sinon adresse parfaite !

Mooi en netjes verblijf.

Wij hebben als gezin, - kind van 2 jaar- een heerlijke 10 dagen gehad in Quinta da Mota II. Alle informatie over het inchecken, omgeving etc netjes vooraf binnengekregen. Daarnaast hadden wij erg goed contact met de verhuurder Joao die zeer adequaat reageerde als wij een vraag hadden. Vanaf dit huisje heb je uitzicht op het zwembad en een appelgaard, erg mooi en lekker rustig. Supermarkt om de hoek en voor wat grote supermarkten zoals Lidl rij je binnen 7 minuten naar Caldas da Rainha. Stranden zijn rustig en schoon en er zijn een hoop leuke plaatjes om te bezoeken. Lissabon ligt op ongeveer 1 uur rijden via de tolweg. In deze stad kan je je nooit vervelen. Aanrader vonden wij het Lisbon Oceanarium. Al met al een leuke vakantie gehad!

Gemütliches Ferienhaus in Meeresnähe

Das gepflegte Ferienhaus ist schön eingerichtet und stellt alle wichtigen Küchenutensilien sowie ausreichend Handtücher und sogar eine Nespressomaschine. Der Pool und die Liegestühle sind ebenfalls positiv hervorzuheben, ABER es ist wichtig zu wissen, dass der Pool für die nebeneinander liegenden Häuser I und II gedacht ist. Wir hatten das Glück, dass die Nachbarfinca unvermietet war. Im Grunde liegt das Haus in der Natur, umgeben von Feldern, doch sollte man wissen, dass die in ca. 200 m Luftlinie liegende Autobahn A8 ein durchgängiges (wenn auch unaufdringliches) Grundrauschen verursacht. Die Vermieter waren nicht vor Ort, aber sofort ansprechbar und bemüht bei einem WLAN-Problem. Die Lage des Hauses zwischen Lissabon und Coimbra und zudem in der Nähe vieler interessanter kleiner Städte ist ideal für natur- und kulturinteressierte Urlauber.

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Sehr tolle Anlage. Schöner Pool und ausreichende Rasenfläche, wo Kinder auch mal Ball spielen können. Kann guten Gewissens empfohlen werden! Im näheren Umkreis sind auch viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, nach Lissabon auch nur ca 1 Stunde über die Autobahn.

The villa was lovely, the pool photo is a little misleading as the pool is actually green, not blue. The instructions on how to get to the villa are a little misleading, we were advised to come off the A8 at junction 20,when in fact, if you come off the A8 at Junction 21 it is easier to find, perhaps a sign on the road just before the turn off would be good as it is not a named road, and just a dirt track that is easily missable. Also, it might be good to advise people staying in the villa that the pool is shared by both villas, as again, the photos are a little misleading, I thought the pool was for our sole use.Having said all that, the villa is clean, the location is quiet, and all amenities are there. There was some bottles of wine, bread and a bottle of water waiting for us, which was a lovely touch.

Wir hatten die 12 Tage sehr genossen und es fehlte an nichts!

Das Haus war schön eingerichtet. Bei Problemen wie z. B WLAN half uns der Besitzer sehr schnell. Der schöne Pool muss mit Haus I geteilt werden, was manchmal etwas störte, aber ein täglicher Sprung im Pool war Pflicht und die Beleuchtung des Pools am Abend einfach wunderschön. Der Rasen wurde abends automatisch bewässert und war dadurch immer schön grün. Die vielen Fliegen waren etwas nervig. Insgesamt waren wir aber sehr zufrieden. Extrem nettes Personal. Wir hatten tolle 12 Tage in Portugal und kommen gerne wieder. Juli 2018

Lovely peaceful setting

We have just spent 12 days in this villa and had a lovely relaxing holiday. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need. It is within an easy drive to local amenities and lunch at the equestrian centre at the end of the lane is very good value for money - 7 euros for 3 courses plus a drink. Would definitely recommend it.

The stay at Quinta da Mota was lovely! The surroundings offer varied activities for all ages of a family. The house is well equipped and the pole is inconvenient to stay around especially in the afternoon.

Very nice location, not far from Lissabon, Peniche Obidos, and many more... We went for 9 days with a baby an pregnant wife :) everything in the house was fine, well suited for us. For this time of year a bit chilly in the morning, but by day you'll forget that. Excellent house for long hot summer days, you can chill by the pool. Very nice view, from the balcony over the fruit plantation . The care taker is very friendly and help full. If you need anything or have further questions from the owner, you'll get instant feedback within the hour. Everything is very nearby with car, people are nice, good food,cheapan shops are very near as well. overall perfect for family holiday. Thank you, and we will come back ! Wim , Sarah ,Rosie and.....

Very cozy and private house, really good place for a family holiday with car.

The house was as promised, everything matched the description, the pictures gave the right impression. We spent there a week with family (kids of age 10 and 15) and all of us enjoyed it very much indeed. Obviously it is a place where you need a car but this makes it also a very good stopover when you are travelling in Portugal with your own car. The house is well equipped, everything is topped up with welcome drinks. The "check in" is easy and handy, everything is intuitive. It can get a bit humid if you are there not exactly in the middle of the season but it is not a real problem. You can always make a fire in the fireplace if you feel like it. We could enjoy the pool even in mid October without any obstacles (nice lights in the garden and in the pool when it is dark). In addition to that you can barbecue outside, eat on the balcony etc. The kitchen is well equipped, if you are above average when it comes to skills in kitchen you might miss some quality knives though. Nespresso machine is your good friend in lazy mornings. If your kids or yourself need to wash clothes during your stay (or dry shoes which might become necessary...) then you have all you need in the separate room on the same level with the pool in your backyard. If you like to sleep with open windows you might hear some of the noise from the highway but it is not really disturbing. With windows closed you can't hear anything. In case you like cats there are few friends sneaking around (our son called them Henry and Lawrence). As for the surroundings there is lots to discover (do your homework, take a day for the monasteries, another for the coastline, Obidos, "crutas" etc.). The places we went to eat out were all good, feel free to choose according to your taste and mood. If you want to prepare something yourself you can find all you might need nearby (smaller shop few hundred meters from the house and bigger few kilometres away). And finally, it is not far away from Lisbon, Sintra and other typical Portuguese destinations. However you might find out after one week that you really had no time to go to far from the surroundings of the house. And, if you need to return your rental car to the airport in the early morning hours, it takes slightly more than an hour driving. We recommend this house and will return there very likely ourselves as well.

Wonderful, rural locstion

It's a very good location. It is quiet in the countryside and you can make lovely daytrips to the various places. Lovely castles, great walks. Very nice swimmingpool, excellent shower, good bed. Enough space in the livingroom
