Campings en Alford

“This is a gem in the cute little village in Alford. The staff, rooms, bar and restaurant were all great. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“The most beautiful peaceful place to stay. Staff are just lovely and we slept so well in the comfortable bed. Great food and close to amenities. Coming back in November!”

“We stayed in one of the offsite casa style rooms which was perfect for our family (we were parents travelling with two teenagers). Room was clean and had all we needed for our two night stay. We appreciated the afternoon scones and tea in the main hotel. We were surprised that our rooms didn’t have any housekeeping between our first and second nights so I’m not sure if that was part of the casa room service or not but our request for addition towels was taken care of quickly!”

“Staying in a single room for the night. Old fashioned hotel in a stunning location. Clean and comfortable. Shower facilities good. Very peaceful and relaxing. Had a great nights sleep. Continental breakfast was okay at best. Avoid the fruit bowl. Saw several flies hovering over it. Plus the coffee machine was erratic. When it did work, the quality of the coffee was not great. Just two minor blemishes in an otherwise enjoyable stay.”

“I was completely shocked when we arrived and saw the state of this hotel. Run down, dirty, just unacceptable. There was supposed to be a dining room when I booked the rooms, but this closed between booking and arrival with no notice. I felt that the security of this place left much to be desired. Had to get the receptionist to show me how to lock the door ("old school: you have to pull the door towards you as you insert key into lock...!") As well, no screens on windows and windows left open to...
