Although the surrounding area (3 km west of Galle Fort) is unassuming, the hotel itself is in a beautiful colonial style with every detail and unique decoration carefully thought through. “Fantastic 150 year old house with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths. One of the most beautiful places we ever stayed. Furnishings are beautiful. Great pool. Great breakfast. Great caretaker, Mohan, also a very good chef preparing dinners for us. The owner stopped by and was extremely helpful. ”

“Leuk verblijf midden in centrum van Galle fort. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. En hebben voor ons meerdere malen vervoer geregeld. Kamers roken erg muf bij binnenkomst. Kan ook komen doordat het de tropen is. Wat ik jammer vond is dat de witte handdoeken erg verwassen waren. Ze waren totaal niet meer wit. Maar dat is een klein detail. Ik zou deze locatie verder absoluut aanraden. ”
