“My husband and I loved the apartment and property (older Victorian home on a large lot with beautiful features like an arbor), the neighborhood it was in (large lots and lovely homes), and the entire area. The surrounding towns and landscape was mostly green rolling hills and mountains with charming towns sprinkled in. It is usually cooler than others places, even up north. We enjoyed the cooler weather for the end of May. The owners were so kind and friendly.”

“Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!”

“Clarysville Motel is a newly renovated, well managed, reasonably priced motor lodge - combining convenience and comfort. The room was very clean with a coffee maker, microwave, and a large refrigerator. The bathroom had a new shower insert, big, fluffy white towels, and plenty of hot water. The owner and son were very attentive to our needs providing bags of ice and even meeting us in the middle of the night when we lost our key.
