“Unfortunately I will not be back. The driveway was hard to find and you have to drive through the parking lot for a gas station to get in, and the rest of the accessible entrances are walled off. Upon arrival, the front desk was empty, telling guests to call a number to get someone’s attention. They did have a nice welcome non alcoholic drink and a cool towel. But then the attendant was a bit too enthusiastic with my bag when I told them multiple times I was fine carrying it-then followed me...

“The room was clean and seemed well-maintained, and the staff was very courteous. The room was a good value for the price. I would kindly ask that the hotel staff be instructed NOT to say the guest’s assigned room number out loud. It creates unnecessary danger, especially when other hotel guests are present in the lobby during check-in. The number is written on the room key paper holder; please just show the person checking in rather than vocalizing the room number out loud. ”

“I stayed in the McCulloch Suite in the Sion Bass House (one of the two adjacent historic homes which make up this property). The suite was very spacious and clean. The check-in instructions which were emailed the day of check-in were very clear. There was a folding ironing board, iron, lots of extra towels, literature related to the history of the property and the city (for anyone who might be interested).
