The property is set within a large Mediterranean garden, alive with scents and colors: among centuries-old olive trees, majestic mulberry trees, and aromatic plants such as thyme, rosemary, and lavender, one can breathe an authentic and regenerating atmosphere, perfect for those who wish to step away from the daily rush and rediscover a deep connection with the earth.
The protagonist of this setting is the trullo, lovingly restored with care and respect for tradition: Trullo Gelso  preserves the architectural charm of the rural homes of the past, with its typical stone vault and thick walls that provide natural coolness. The trullo is independent and equipped with a double bed, private bathroom, air conditioning, mini fridge, and clothes hanger. These are intimate, welcoming spaces that maintain a link with rustic simplicity, without giving up comfort.
Outside, in the green heart of the garden, lies the shared dining area, a convivial place scented with wild herbs. Here, among the song of the cicadas and the shade of the trees, guests can cook and eat outdoors thanks to a convenient induction hob, a barbecue, an outdoor sink, and all the necessary equipment to experience meals as rituals of wellbeing and sharing. In a reserved corner of the garden, there is also a shared laundry area—comfortable and discreet—designed to offer an additional useful service to those choosing a longer stay or who wish to feel truly at home.

Capilungo , where Trullo Gelso is located, is a peaceful seaside village in the municipality of Alliste, overlooking the splendid Ionian Sea. Despite its quiet and relaxed spirit, it is a strategic point for visiting some of the most fascinating destinations in Salento. Just a few minutes by car are the golden beaches of Torre San Giovanni, the crystal-clear waters of Punta della Suina, and the lively city of Gallipoli, with its historic center rich in history, artisan shops, and seafront venues. Not far away, Santa Maria di Leuca and Specchia , one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, also offer experiences filled with sea, culture, and tradition.
