The cabin we stayed in was right on the Taylor river. It was a wonderful stay and the location was 10/10! The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We would love to visit again!

Wonderful property

Super nice stay

The property was totally as advertised. Right on the Taylor River. It was a short straight drive to Crested Butte Nordic areas, which was my interest. Cooking and sleeping areas were great. The available supplies at the office/lodge were awesome. Definitely a great destination.

Site of the cabin is wonderful. Taylor river is glorious to experience any time of day. The cabin is comfortable enough but needs some attention. Door knob sticks and unlocking requires both hands. Screen door needs adjusting as well.

We Consider Three Rivers Resort the very best place to stay in the Gunnison Crested Butte region, centrally located for all of the abundant outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer and shopping and dining in both towns. Don't overlook the on-site dining, fishing guides, and river rafting on the Taylor River. We love this place.

Cute and Tiny

It was just what we needed. It is definitely a “tiny cabin”! We did not know that the loft does not have regular ceilings. My kids couldn’t even stand up! We would love to come back in the summer to see the property.

Nice cabin right off the water. We stay here every year for the hunting seasons. Close enough to get to everything quickly but far enough out to be peaceful.

My cell carrier (Verizon) does not provide much if any signal so I was relying on the WiFi.My other family were at cabins 57, 65, 66 and they did not have the same issues that I did so perhaps 62 is in a 'blind spot'.I did notice something odd:at Cabin 62, "3RiversResort" WiFi was available but no password was required. If I clicked on it, it would never connect. Just cycled."ThreeRiversResort" did require the password but it only was intermittently available when I sat on the left side of the living room couch near the window. On Saturday Aug 10, when I was at Cabin 57, "3RiversResort" (with a password required) became available and I was able to logon. Stayed logged on when I got back to 62 that night and on Sunday morning before I left.Hope this is helpful! :-)

The Taylor Canyon and National Forest areas surrounding the resort were absolutely breathtaking. Cabin was cute and everyone at the resort was super friendly. We also enjoyed all of the fly fishing opportunities on the Taylor and Gunnison Rivers (including the private access behind the cabin).

Weekend Get Away... November version.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time at Three Rivers Resort (first time was August 2023) and we absolutely love it. It's 10 miles from Gunnison, so even in the off season when on-site restaurant is closed, there are a lot of great places to eat. The staff is super friendly, has great recommendations for places to go, and things to see. OR, you can grab a pole and fish the river behind our cabin, which is what we did. We highly recommend the fishing guide service there on-site; our guide Eric Grand was very patient with a first time fly-fisher, very encouraging, and celebrated catches with us! Best day ever!! AND, he's like a walking encyclopedia - we learned so much that day. The cabins are very clean, warm and cozy. Nice TV to catch a game, nicer porch to drink coffee on and watch the river.Next trip - we are going to check out the ice fishing! If you are looking for a place to unwind, relax and recharge - this is the place.

BUT...Scraped my head and drew blood on non-standard low bathroom door frame, tripped and fell on non-standard large step from door to porch - nearly broke my leg. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom very cramped. I will be renting older, better-designed cabins at Three Rivers in future.

Unfortunately, the mattress sagged in the middle quite noticably and it was pretty hard, making for a not-so-resort-like sleeping experience. Everything else was great. We had trouble with a window, but received help within 10 minutes. Beautiful place to stay.

Reviewer Comments: Absolutely beautiful location and very low key place to get away,Noticeably peaceful , the atmosphere was filled with the scent of lilacs and completely relaxing even for a group of our size with everyone’s dogs! (Of ALL Sizes). Would recommend to others for sure. the only thing I would ask for is if they would mail me the Apple charger my son left in cabin 62. (Rusty spinner) :)

Spring fishing trip

The location was perfect with the Taylor being right down the road and the East being right off the porch. The room was excellent with a decent sized living area and plenty of room to relax in front of the TV and cook dinner either inside or outside on the charcoal grill. I will be back next year as it's a great location to enjoy the fishing on the Taylor. We caught fish every day and good size!
