Stummbled across this hidden gem whilst browsing.

Great weather so were able to enjoy the very tasty breakfast from the outdoor terrace overlooking the beach each morning. Food was great as per the many reviews online. Great place to walk along beach or simply watch the world go by. Bed was very comfortable and room amenities as expected. Hidden gem.
Breakfast view, cow was a nice touch.

This is a lovely place to stay. The sea is right outside your window and all you can hear are seabirds and waves. Such a great room and a very comfy bed.

A great location.

The Studio was very comfortable and beautifully done out but having to cook three feet from the bed is not great.A lovely idea to be able to cook your own breakfast(everything provided) but it doesn't really work.The hosts were very friendly and the beachside location was great.Food in the restaurant was excellent But It needs a teapot!!! Toilet/ bathroom cleaning products. Tea towels. Hairdryer. Overall it was great stay and are just making suggestions to make it even better.

Great hidden gem right on the beach

A fabulous little place with clean accommodation . Food in restaurant excellent with big portions and a friendly well stocked bar - great real ale and roaring fire .

Studio flat right on the beach

Location perfect for birdwatchers; very interesting habitat provided virtually our own hide from the upstairs living room window. Good length of walkable coastline direct from the property, couple of hours in either direction linking to the Northumberland Coastal Path to extend the walk even further.

Romance with a sea view.

My wife and I booked this for a weekend away because it had views of the beach, has a small kitchenette for self catering, and yet is attached to a pub restaurant, which provides 5 star restaurant food at "northern pub prices" They made sure we had a table with a view on both nights, and breakfast items were provided in the fridge. There was more than enough for 2 mornings, plus we had sausages and eggs spare, so we cooked them and had them in a pack up lunch on the way home. My only tiny , (very tiny) minor issue was that in the lounge the hosts have been kind enough to provide DVD's and Books but beware, none of them are suitable for those who like a simple care free comedy drama. The DVD's were a genre which was perhaps the opposite of what you want for a romantic night in with your wife. Too much blood and violence. Did not impact our stay, as we were more amused than horrified. Anyway the View. The beach, the lobster. That's what we went for and that's what we got. Plus the bed is very comfortable.

On the beach next to a pub..perfect

Charlotte looked after us so well. Lovely little place quaint pub. Close to Alnwick and other Northumberland coastal loveliness. Can't fault it.

not to be missed. a perfect break

Me and my husband stayed the weekend as we were going to a concert nearby. We were so impressed with the accomodation and the hospitality. The pub food was phenominal. An absolutely joyful weekend.

Room with a view.

Our 5 night stay stay was outstanding. Mike and Margaret go that extra mile for you if required. The staff were fist class, and the restaurant food simply great. To top it all the view from your room is fantastic, you cannot get any closer to the sea if you tried.
