My wife and I booked this for a weekend away because it had views of the beach, has a small kitchenette for self catering, and yet is attached to a pub restaurant, which provides 5 star restaurant food at "northern pub prices"
They made sure we had a table with a view on both nights, and breakfast items were provided in the fridge. There was more than enough for 2 mornings, plus we had sausages and eggs spare, so we cooked them and had them in a pack up lunch on the way home.
My only tiny , (very tiny) minor issue was that in the lounge the hosts have been kind enough to provide DVD's and Books but beware, none of them are suitable for those who like a simple care free comedy drama. The DVD's were a genre which was perhaps the opposite of what you want for a romantic night in with your wife. Too much blood and violence. Did not impact our stay, as we were more amused than horrified. Anyway the View. The beach, the lobster. That's what we went for and that's what we got. Plus the bed is very comfortable.
