Casa rural para 6 personas en Álora, en la provincia de Málaga, Andalucía.

Rodeada de limoneros y con un amplísimo jardín con césped natural, esta tradicional casa rural dispone de varias estancias que se distribuyen en dos plantas:

En la planta superior están los dormitorios, uno con una cama de matrimonio y una salita de estar, otro con una cama de matrimonio y un dormitorio con dos camas individuales.

En la planta baja hay un salón con chimenea, un comedor, una cocina de estilo campestre y un cuarto de baño con bañera.

La vivienda presenta un bonito porche que da paso a la piscina y al jardín. También en el exterior hay un aseo y una impresionante barbacoa con un horno de leña.

Family holiday in August

Enjoyed a nice quiet family week here in August. Pool area was great for the kids. House location was quiet and Alora town a few minutes away in the car for coffee/meals and a good supermarket. Despite the August heat, the house stayed relatively cool inside and aircon in the rooms etc.

Relaxing Place

Our family stayed in June 2021. An absolute gem in a very nice quite area. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, the ambiance is very relaxing and peaceful. Loved the around area with orange, lemon, and lime trees, makes the place even more unique. Our daughter loved the pool which was big with clear water. Highly suggest for families with kids. Loved the around area, town of Alora. Malaga is about 40 min drive.

Große, abgelegene Villa, in der der Garten und der Pool das Highlight sind. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wie schon andere gesagt haben, waren die Betten etwas klein und wir waren enttäuscht, dass die Außenküche keinen Grill hatte (es ist ein flacher Gasgrill) und dass wir kein Brennholz für den Holzofen bekommen konnten. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, waren aber die ganze Woche weg und werden es vermissen, am schönen Pool zu sitzen.

Unsere Familie war im Juni 2021. Ein absolutes Juwel in einer sehr schönen ruhigen Gegend. Umgeben von einem schönen Garten ist das Ambiente sehr entspannend und friedlich. Liebte die Gegend mit Orangen-, Zitronen- und Lindenbäumen, was den Ort noch einzigartiger macht. Unsere Tochter liebte den großen Pool mit klarem Wasser. Für Familien mit Kindern sehr zu empfehlen. Liebte die Umgebung, Stadt Alora. Malaga ist etwa 40 Autominuten entfernt.

Schönes authentisches Haus mit großem Swimmingpool. Es liegt schön abgeschieden, daher ist es ruhig und friedlich. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche. Genießen Sie das Kochen und Essen im Freien unter den Weinreben und auf den Sonnenliegen. Die Besitzer sind sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit (Kontakt per WhatsApp mit dem Enkel). Das Badezimmer ist groß und modern (Badezimmer befindet sich im Erdgeschoss). Die Küche ist veraltet, aber es gibt ausreichend Geschirr, Gläser und Besteck. Die Schlafzimmer befinden sich im Obergeschoss und die Doppelbetten sind eher klein. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Empfohlen.

Schöne authentische Finca mit schönem Garten mit großem Swimmingpool. Wir hatten eine fantastische Woche. Draußen unter den Reben sitzen und auf den Sonnenliegen liegen. Die Eigentümer wohnen im Dorf und sind sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit (Kontakt über WhatsApp). Es ist eine alte Finca mit viel Charme. Das Badezimmer ist groß und modern (das Badezimmer befindet sich im Erdgeschoss). Die Küche ist ziemlich alt, aber gut ausgestattet in Bezug auf Besteck, Teller, Gläser usw. Das einzige, was fehlen würde, ist eine Spülmaschine und ein großer Backofen. Die Betten sind alt, haben aber trotzdem gut geschlafen (Doppelbetten sind recht schmal). Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Lovely stay

We stayed here earlier this summer and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Lovely quaint villa, located on a citrus farm, it had everything we needed for our family holiday. Our Spanish was limited but our hosts went out of their way to make sure there were English speakers there at check-in which was incredibly kind & thoughtful. The villa itself was ideal - the pool was amazing and ideal for our 6 year old. There were noodles & inflatables already there which was perfect. We were initially worried about shade around the pool from the pictures, but there was loads of good shade throughout the day and movable umbrellas invade required in the pool. The three bedrooms all have aircon and although the main living area of the house doesn’t, don’t let that put you off as the downstairs of the house remained cool even in 40oC plus heat. As someone else has also noted, the beds are either single or double, so little snug, but as there are multiple beds in each room, my wife and I just pushed two single beds together and used that. Kitchen ideal with everything you need and there’s also an outdoor cooking area with a gas grill, pizza oven & wood paella cooking area. Alora itself is lovely - extremely tight roads so if you hire a car, I’d recommend paying extra insurance ha. A lot more holiday shops than we first thought, so explore the town by foot a little and you’ll be suprised what you’ll find that might be useful. Aside from Mercadona (supermarket), there are loads of smaller ones too. There’s one British bar (Maria’s) and even a British shop - that said, the local Spanish eateries are amazing. It’s located about an hour from Ronda, 1:45hr from Granada, 40mins from Malaga and 50mins from Marbella. Would highly recommend a stay in Alora, lovely house, lovely hosts and a memorable holiday.

The villa photos were very accurate and it was lovely and clean. The aircon in the main large bedroom wasn't as effective as in a smaller bedroom, so we slept there instead. However one of the beds and pillows was very firm - not great if you're a side sleeper. There were are lot of dogs in the area who were prone to barking, sometimes late at night and early in the morning. This was fine for me as I wear earplugs to block out my husbands snoring but he had a lot of disrupted sleep.We were met at the villa by the owner and her grandson who showed us around and said that the grandmother would pop by early to water some of her plants but would come early so not to disrupt us. However there were a few occasions in the week where people came during the day to take deliveries/repairs, start their car etc. We never really felt that we were on our own and could truly relax!We loved the outdoor cooking area and the outside space for sitting/sunbathing. The location to the town was great - especially when we got sick and needed the pharmacy!

Mooie authentieke finca met prachtige tuin met groot zwembad. We hebben een fantastische week gehad. Lekker buiten gezeten onder de wijnranken en op de ligbedden gelegen. Eigenaren wonen in het dorp en zijn zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam (contact via whatsapp). Het is een oude finca met veel charme. De badkamer is groot en modern (badkamer is beneden). De keuken is vrij oud, maar goed ingericht qua bestek, borden, glazen, etc. Het enige dat zou ontbreken is een vaatwasser en een grote oven. De bedden zijn oud maar hebben nog lekker geslapen (tweepersoonsbedden zijn vrij smal). We willen zeker nog eens terug gaan!

The house is old but well kept with a very new bathroom and all facilities needed - except for a dishwasher which we would have wished for. All in all a very good stay and the host and his family have been very nice to us and replied very quickly.
