“It is a beautiful HISTORIC property so don't expect all the conveniences of modern buildings. It is well worth the sacrifice of some of those conveniences to enjoy the peace and beauty of the building. The train does come through multiple times day or night, but we found it interesting to watch. We enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard and walking around the area. Such COOL murals all over town! Staff was very friendly and everywhere we walked people seemed friendly as well!”

“Very accommodating for our pet (there is a one time fee). Very quiet out there. About 3 miles on a dirt road though, it's not horrible but I wish it was all paved. Makes for a lot of dust. It is a way out there, about 45 minutes to Study Butte and Terlingua but a nice scenic drive and the roads out there are good.
