  • ¡Bienvenido a Starlight Sanctuary! La naturaleza, la tranquilidad y la comodidad se unen para crear una experiencia inolvidable en este refugio de diseño exquisito. A solo veinte minutos del Parque Nacional de Big Bend, este lugar único, alejado de la red eléctrica, está rodeado por unas vistas espectaculares de 360° de la montaña Packsaddle, la meseta Mine Point, Camels Hump y Red Bluff. Durante el día, disfruta de los sonidos de la naturaleza y la fauna con toda comodidad. Por la noche, relájate bajo el cielo estrellado, oscuro como el carbón, en la romántica pérgola.
    Starlight Sanctuary te ofrece una autocaravana de última generación del 2023 en una parcela de 10 acres totalmente independiente de la red eléctrica. Esta experiencia en el desierto, con un diseño único, viene totalmente equipada con agua corriente (incluido un inodoro con cisterna y ducha), energía solar, dos aparatos de aire acondicionado y wifi. Con capacidad para hasta 6 huéspedes a la vez, la autocaravana de 32' cuenta con: dormitorio principal, cocina completa, zona común (con literas) y pérgola/terraza exterior con barbacoa de carbón.

Great remote unique place

Perfect place to visit Big Bend Area, remote but you have all that you need even wifi… perfect clean. Esteban is really responsive Totally recomended

Great stay!

Me and my girlfriend had a great time here! The RV has everything you need to cook food and provides every comfort you need from hot water to an adequate heater and A/C. I also liked the amount of room in the fridge and freezer for groceries. The outside portion had a beautiful view with a nice fire pit and chairs. Overall a well worth the money booking.

It was our first time staying in an RV. The experience was decent except for a couple of big items. 1) The A/c (especially heating) didn't work. Luckily for us the night time temperatures weren't too bad during our stay, but they were definitely a lot colder than we are used to sleeping in! The host tried to send someone to look at it, but it was Christmas and probably couldn't get anyone. 2) Water was sticky! Kind of soapy feel but no bubbles or lather. And didn't smell funny. We got drinking water ourselves, so was not an issue for cooking. But cleaning dishes and showering were a bit queasy. The location was decent, in the wilderness, and not too close to neighbors. There is a good couple of miles drive in dirt roads to access the camper from paved road. The fireplace is good, but one of the chairs was broken.

First issue: There is no cell signal anywhere near the RV, and the host had not shared the lockbox code via chat (a way that I could access without internet). Since it was in a pdf sent via Dropbox, I had to go over to the neighboring property and ask to use their WiFi in order to get the code.Biggest issue: water pump issues made it nearly impossible to shower three of the four nights we were there. After hiking in the desert all day, we desperately wanted to shower but could barely get enough pressure to wet our bodies. (Also, the clip that held the shower head in place was broken so we had to hold it with one hand while trying to wash with the other.)Ickiest issue: we learned that there was a mouse in the RV when we left a loaf of bread on the counter and found the package and loaf nibbled the next morning.Frustrating hassle: the gas stove required a flame to light, but there were no matches or lighter in the tv, so we were unable to cook until we bought our own.On the bright side: the host always responded quickly and was very empathetic.
