  • This is a remodeled manufactured home with a modern style. Excellent accommodations, finely appointed. Located in Alpine, the gateway to Big Bend National, Marfa Lights, McDonald observatory, Lajitas/Terlingua. Very clean and comfortable.

Comfortable Stay

Great staging point

The Suncatcher is a quiet place to stay. The decor is cute. We found it to be stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend the Suncatcher in Alpine if you want to see multiple places in this beautiful and wonderfully vast area.

Big Bend Adventure Stay

Susie was awesome as a host and gave some great ideas for things to do on our trip. Her house was great and provided a centralized jumping off point for all things we wanted to do in the Big Bend and Davis Mountains regions.

Suncatcher Getaway

Home and property are both very clean and well maintained. Home is very comfy and has everything you need for a great sta, even has extra touches such as snacks, shampoo, etc. Plenty of room for the three of us on our trip. Location is great, neighborhood is very quiet. Would recommend to others.

Clean, Comfortable and Spiffy!

It's like new, clean and has plenty of room for 2 couples or a family. Easily accessible from anywhere in Alpine. I'll be back!

Clean and Cute!

Super clean and cute place! Sue was easy to get a hold of and went out of her way to accommodate our needs! Kitchen could use a few more microwave safe bowls/ spatulas/ etc, but still a 5 star stay!

Alpine visit

We very much enjoyed our stay- clean place, easy checkin and check out, and a short distance to everywhere we visited. We did arrive after dark, and our suggestion would be to post the house number on the fence, not just the house, and illuminate it. A from-street pic would have also helped.

Comfortable Home

Our first impression of the neighborhood was “kinda sketch”. However, upon entry to the clean and cozy home, we settled in and enjoyed our stay. The location turned out to be okay and the neighbors were friendly. Only negative any of us had was the extremely uncomfortable living room furniture. An info sheet or notebook would have been helpful as well. Otherwise, we were centrally located to everything we wanted to do and see and getting around was easy. Overall good experience.

We enjoyed our stay. We were in town to tailgate for ASU-Sul Ross. We had a great time. The location was easy to find. Very clean. And had all we needed.
