“It was easy to enter the private gated estate and guest house. Grounds were as beautiful as described. Accommodations were top quality and tastefully decorated. Very spacious 1 bedroom with lots of natural light. Beautiful view of the full moon from the back patio & modern hot tub. Would love to return! ”

“This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one...
