“We were looking for a quiet woodland retreat and found this place to be exactly that. The 3-season porch was wonderful. The furniture was comfortable. A wide variety of woodland birds and chipmunks came to the feeders close to the windows. The chipmunks were especially entertaining. A big thank you to the host for coming to refill the feeders. “A nice place to stay while we visited with family in the Lowell area, plenty of space for us and our vehicles. The beds were comfortable and clean. I just wish there had been screens on the windows to open them more comfortably because bugs kept getting in, fans were okay but it was on the warmer side. Overall the host was great and checking in/out was very simple!”

The house was very neat and tidy. It was fully equipped with pots, pans, and utensils if you choose not to go out and eat. It was definitely a needed get away and if we come back to Gun Lake, we would love to stay here again.”
