On the plus side.....Comfy bed and nice Not as impressive.... Furniture in the room was a bit beat up..and the pool was cold.Fine for the evening..not sure I'd stay for a long stay. But just leaving an honest review ..not really complaining.

The walls are thin. It seemed like there was a dance competition in town and they were all staying at the same hotels. They should have been grouped together so they all could be as loud as they wanted. For those of us that were not part of the group and just looking for a clean place to stay while traveling, we didn’t get a good night sleep.

Room was nice. Check in was easy. No soundproofing whatsoever though. Could hear elevator ding 5 doors away. Not quiet at all. Party across the hall at 3am was super loud because nothing blocked sound. Had to call front desk to stop it.

Hot water in the shower very short lived. Room smelled truly bad. Had to spray lots of febreeze. Room service doesn’t show unless you call. Half the channels on TV are religious. Otherwise very nice stay.

The only issue we had was the lack of hot water. The evening desk clerk informed us that it had to be run about 5 minutes to get hot. Hung up and ran the shower for 10 minutes. No hot water. Luke warm at best. Re-called desk and clerk said he would leave note and inform maintenance for the morning. Morning arrived, still no hot water, no note. Morning staff knew nothing about it. Maintenance did act promptly after being informed. They checked boilers and increased temp a little. Water was a little bit warmer but shower was still no where near hot.

We didn’t arrive until after dark, but the parking area was well lit and lended itself to feeling safe, especially in an unfamiliar city. The main lobby space was inviting, and the front desk staff person was quick and courteous. Check-in was a breeze, and we were able to get to our room, and right to the pool to enjoy some swimming with our kids!

Basic, just a room to stay to for the purpose I went to Altoona. The receptionist at the hotel was nice, provided the hotel details and made check in a breeze. Room was basic , serviced its purpose. Surprisingly the bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft ,a good night sleep is priceless. The hotel can use some updates, a lot of the fixtures, post, shower heads have turned colors, appearing to look filthy, The surrounding area is iffy. There is a head warm pool.
