The home was well maintained and equipped and presented an excellent waterfront view. Anna marie island is a very nice place with a lot to do. Several restaurants we chose were special and presented an island atmosphere. We would return, hopefully with warmer weather.

This home is the perfect getaway! We have been renting beach homes for years, this is by far the most comfortable and well stocked home we have stayed in. The location is private but also close to the fun. The dock is great for fishing or dolphin watching. Everything you think you could need is located inside the house. We enjoyed the bikes, kayaks, beach toys and comfy beach chairs. The owners were super responsive to every concern that arose. We are hoping to stay again soon! Thanks for sharing your beautiful bay front home!

My husband and I, and our three boys ranging from 22 to 10 stayed here and it was such a wonderful trip. Check-in was a breeze, house was wonderful and very clean, pool and hot tub were perfect temps, views were incredible, quick walk to beach and shops- honestly, one of the best houses we've rented. This is definitely our new go-to house when staying in the area!

The Bay Beauty!

We absolutely loved this house, it was gorgeous! Everything was excellent, the house was in perfect condition, very clean and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfy and there was nothing missing! There are plenty of beach gear, such as chairs, umbrellas and buggies - and the beach access is just a short walk away. There are some kayaks, although we did not use them. The communication with Christy was excellent, she was always very responsive and ready to help, if needed. We loved sitting in the screened porch early morning, sipping a coffee and just watching the sunrise over the bay. What a bliss! We‘d love to come back again!

Spring break trip

From the first time walking in the door and seeing the view to the last night fishing off the dock this house was nothing but amazing. We loved the heated pool and hot tub and the kayaks were an added bonus. The house was so clean and the rooms were perfect. The owners were so helpful and easy to communicate with. Anna Maria is our favorite place to visit and we can’t wait to come back again.

Incredible vacation home

After a long flight from London we walked into the house as the sun was setting and all gasped at the stunning view across the bay. Just at that moment a group of dolphins swam past, it was magical. This is a truly beautiful home, spotlessly clean, light are airy, freshly painted, gorgeous outside area where we sat and watched the bay for hours.We biked all over - to the Sandbar for dinner, the gym 2 minutes away and the ever fabulous Bean Point. We paddleboarded from the dock almost every day and dolphins and manatees swam beside us.We’ve been coming to the area for 15 years from London and never stayed in the same house twice - but after this will be somewhere we hope to return to.Christine was great to deal with and very helpful - when we asked for an iron she arranged for a new one plus ironing board to be delivered the same day.Thank you so much for an amazing vacation!

Beautiful home

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house is clean, updated and everything was in perfect working order. The sunrise view over the Bay is spectacular. Plenty of towels and supplies on hand. Would gladly stay here again when visiting the area

This home is beautiful. It is clean, well equipped, tastefully decorated, with spectacular sunrises and views throughout the day. Its my favorite vrbo stay hands down. Christy is easy to work with since her goal is the guests top notch experience in her home. I cant say enough good things; well worth it!

Gorgeous sunrises

This is a beautiful house with easy access to everything on the island. The fishing dock was great! It would be nice if it had a light on it since we did a lot of night fishing. But just a suggestion not a complaint. All the beach accessories were super helpful and our daughter and son-in-law really enjoyed the kayak. The owner was super easy to access and would reply immediately. No problems, just questions about some of the lighting. Overall, would highly recommend

Perfect quiet vacation spot. In a neighborhood w easy beach access, plenty of nearby options for anything we wanted to do. Very quiet neighborhood. My wife and I nearly always use VRBO for vacations, hands down best property we have ever had through VRBO. Only thing that would have made it better was if we had stayed 2 weeks. The only thing I can think of they might improve is a little better fishing pole and a second pole, but I’m not sure I was supposed to used it.

Bayfront Beauty

We had an amazing stay. You can't beat being bayfront, especially when you have a short walk to get to the beach. We appreciated how well-equipped the home was, and used the kayaks, paddle boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes daily. The owner Christy was friendly and super responsive and the home was clean. I think our favorite thing besides the amazing views was the screened-in porch. It was the perfect spot to relax. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us, we would love to return.

Paradise

The house is beautiful and in a great location. The beach and restaurants were within walking distance, we rented a golf cart to get around the island which made for an ever greater experience. The house is very clean and comfortable. We saw dolphins from the porch and pool area. Definitely will return.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is just as pictured. The location is perfect and just a quick golf cart ride away to wherever you need. The kids saw dolphins almost every day. If you’re looking for the perfect family vacation home this house has everything and more!

Beautiful Property; Great Location

We were very pleased with our stay! It was our first time to AMI and we certainly hope to return. The location of the property is great - easily walkable to the beach, amazing views of the bay, close to grocery and dining. We visited Manatee Beach one day but much preferred the quiet and lovely stretch of beach directly across 49th street. The house itself was quite clean and very comfortable for our group of 5. The amenities provided were really nice - often the chairs, umbrellas, etc. at beach rentals are worn and rusty, but everything here was in excellent condition. We used the chairs and 2 umbrellas each day (transported using the beach cart), took a paddle board out on the ocean, and definitely used the 2 bikes quite a bit. One note: parking is challenging at some of the spots on the north side of the island, so I would recommend renting a few extra bikes if possible. As others mentioned, the bay can have a bit of a sulfur smell. This combined with the heat resulted in us using the pool less than I’d anticipated. But the pool area was very pretty and provided a great spot to view the sunrise. The communication from the owners was outstanding! Any questions were answered right away. All in all, this was an excellent property and experience and we highly recommend it!

Family vacation

Our stay was exceptional! The location was perfect. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. The views were out of this world!! We discovered that the steps going out of the back porch were actually easier to use whenever we left the property. Our stay was wonderful. Christie was so easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Simply Perfect!

The purpose of this trip was for my husband and me to kick back, relax and recharge. We had no desire to sightsee and didn't even rent a car. We were seeking a spot where we could walk to many things and that had water toys for paddling and a pool for lounging. This home was all that and more for us! We had a car service take us from the airport to the rental; used Uber once and walked everywhere else. Upon arriving, our hosts happened to be on-site and even helped get our groceries in the house as our instacart delivery was 25 minutes early. Lovely people that seemed to genuinely care that we were taken care of. Walking inside the house smelled freshly cleaned and all of the windows and the view just knocked my socks off. This house was clean everywhere- I like to walk barefoot and my feet were totally clean walking on these floors. Everywhere you look you see water and sky! We spent our days putting the tandem kayak in the water and exploring, back to the house for lunch, followed by time lounging in the heated pool listening to music (the house had a home pod that we would move to the screened patio), then walk to dinner, hit the beach for sunset (just a quick walk across the street) then kick back and enjoy Netflix! We really enjoyed the screened-in porch off the kitchen and ate most meals out there looking at the birds and dolphins that would go by. We only cooked once, so I cannot speak to how well-stocked the kitchen was for that, but I found what I needed for the one meal. Do know that there is a sulfur smell (cannot do anything about mother nature) that will hit you depending on the wind and tide. You can enjoy the sunrise every morning from the primary suite upstairs or from the many windows on the main level. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Not much sleeping in though as the sunrise will have you up with the sun (bedroom had shades but they were no match for the florida sun). If you want to sleep in I would recommend the lower bedroom. We enjoyed the windows more than sleeping in! Do be warned- there are 18 stairs from the driveway to the main floor and 20 stairs from the main floor to a primary suite (only 5 steps from the main floor to other beds and bath). We had no issues with this but if someone had limited mobility this may be a problem. We had a simply fabulous time and if we vacation in this area again this will be our spot! Beautiful! Clean! Great location! Stunning Views! DOLPHINS!! MANATEES!! Great supplies until we went to the store, which we actually stopped at on the way in. But we frequent the island and this is the best supplied house for necessities to start out your vacation. Also outdoor toys were endless. From the adults to the littles. The jacuzzi was awesome, the pool lovely. One “Snaffoo”, house directions were on the bottom shelf of the coffee table and we didn’t see it until the night before leaving. We thought it was forgotten, but it’s there, just look. The stairs were MANY for my husband and I as we both have some medical issues. I do think it was good for us in the long run, but it was a lot. We did wish for another bathroom for our group of six, but it ended out working ok for us. We are just used to a lot of bathrooms so we had to shuffle around a bit. But it absolutely worked. Again, we absolutely loved this beautiful home. The family that shared were amazing! We really wanted to meet with them just to put faces with the folks who shared, but unfortunately we didn’t get a chance. We would definitely recommend this vacation home and would also go back again. Enjoy your vacation!!!

Couldn’t be more perfect!

My family, parents and in-laws had an absolutely amazing time! The views of the bay are gorgeous to wake up to! The walk to the beach is so close and has beautiful sunsets! Christy and Mike are absolutely fantastic to communicate with. We enjoyed pool days, beach days, a walk to the Ugly Grouper, a morning on historic Bridge Street, a night watching the sunset with drinks at the Sandbar and live music at Harry’s Bar and Grill. We had groceries delivered from Publix and our favorite Ice Cream shop, Holy Cow Ice Cream we visited almost every night. Everything is close by to either walk or drive too. The guys fished (use shrimp for bait) off the dock and caught 3 sharks, 2 sting ray, bull heads, a giant crab, a flounder and we watched dolphins and mantatees right from our pool deck. The beds are extremely comfortable!! The master bedroom and bathroom upstairs is breathtaking! The pool is perfect for infants to adults. It was warm and refreshing on the hot days we had. So thankful to have found this gem! We already booked for next year!
