- Right in the heart of Ambleside, this apartment is within walking distance of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as Lake Windermere.. 3 steps to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: TV, Electric Woodburner
Dining area.
Bedroom area: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Kitchen: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Small enclosed courtyard with garden furniture. Parking permit for 1 car included (for nearby public car parks); parking in yard behind the property for loading/unloading only. No smoking.. This ideal walkers’ apartment is centrally located in the popular town of Ambleside, in fact there are many places you can explore by just walking from your doorstep! It may be a studio apartment, but you are not short of space and comfort, the cosy living area, with its electric wood burner, is an ideal place to relax in after a full days outing. There is a dining area if you decide to stay in, but with so many of Ambleside’s renowned eating places a stone’s throw away, it will be hard not to step back out over the threshold. After a night’s sleep in the comfortable bed, step into the superb shower room for an invigorating start to your day. If you fancy a hearty breakfast, the kitchen has everything you need, and don’t worry about the washing up as the dishwasher will take care of that. Delve into your guide books and walking maps, and you will be ready for discovering the area, be it Lake Windermere, the ferry terminal is just a short walk away, or the spectacular 70-foot waterfall at Stock Ghyll Force, which is well worth a visit. Ambleside has plenty of dog friendly inns, so after an excellent days walking, you and your pooch can sit back, enjoy a local ale and some good Lakeland food. Shop 350 yards, pub 150 yards and restaurant 50 yards.

Absolutely fabulous cottage with everything you need and more.
Absolutely fabulous cottage with everything you need and more. I loved the extra touches such as the jar of dog biscuits. It really felt home from home and I can’t wait to book again!

Wonderful little place for two people and a dog.
Wonderful little place for two people and a dog. So close to all amenities and to take in Ambleside. A wonderful park for an early morning walk with dogs or in the evening. I would go again but probably out of season
for a lower cost

A cracking little find! Lots of thought has gone into making the most of the space available without it being claustrophobic. Modern, clean and bright with good lighting in darker spots. WiFi great, comfortable furniture, fab location. We look forward to returning very soon :)

Very central to everything on offer in Ambleside.
Very central to everything on offer in Ambleside. The cottage is very well equipped, excellent fixtures and fittings and very comfy bed. Perfect for a couple (and the dog) with some wonderful walks right on the doorstop.

This was a lovely, clean studio cottage.
This was a lovely, clean studio cottage. There were so many little touches that made the stay comfortable from the fully equipped kitchen to the spotless bathroom. I took all sorts of things with me - can opener, bag clips, dish cloth, etc. and didn't use any of them - everything was already there.
The cottage is in the lower part of Ambleside which means nearly everything is up hill so make sure you are ready for the trek! One good point is that the local bus stops are about 50 yds away which is handy for exploring the Lake District, but you do need to go a bit further afield to find a long stay car park.

Had an amazing holiday staying in this cottage.
Had an amazing holiday staying in this cottage. It is in the middle of town, and you can get to everywhere really easily. Very dog friendly and beautifully decorated. It has everything you need. The only thing that could have been better was the size and comfort of the bed. Other than that we loved our stay in this cottage.

the property was WOW !, stunning accommodation every eventuality catered for,for both us
and our Cocker Spaniel, the owners had thought of everything even down to doggie treats and
Coffee pods looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend this property.
