Skelwith Bridge is the gateway to the majestic Langdale Valley, offering wonderful scenery and low and high-level walking and cycle routes, with all the main peaks and tarns within 5 miles. Ambleside, 2.5 miles away, is a vibrant town with a selection of fine-dining restaurants. Enjoy a gentle amble along the river to Elterwater, a great route for all ages and only 2 miles one way, then stop for some refreshments before returning. For rainy days, discover Beatrix Potter World, Blackwell Arts and Crafts, or ride the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, all within 15 miles. If you prefer activities on the water, head to Brockhole on Windermere, 5 miles away.

From the rear of this pretty stone-built cottage, step into a traditional, farmhouse kitchen complete with a Belfast sink and all the appliances you need to make meal preparation a breeze. The decor throughout the property is full of calming colours, creating the perfect ambience for you and your guests to unwind.
