“We booked one of the nicer rooms. It seemed like a renovation project had been started but not finished. Half the wooden floor had been sanded and in places patched, the rest was stained. Shower was a clunky 70’s spa tub which ran hot and cold without any changes to the lever. Cupboard with glass doors was missing glass in one of them. Exterior of the hotel looked run down. “Room was on the roadside so no view and lower than the road so.o0eming the blinds meant people being able to see down into the room. Staff were friendly but their system for checking was odd, just a section at the end of the bar and online check in didn't work.so had to re do all the details. Breakfast system to order gluten free or vegetarian was to order at the bar not in the kitchen and then they brought it to you but you had to go back to the kitchen to get the rest of the meal.
