“I had a room with paper-thin walls. I could hear my next-door room neighbors late into the evening...they were just having a normal decibel conversation but the walls were so thin between us that it was all disruptive to falling asleep.

“The accommodation is very clean, free hot drinks while we stayed and staff very nice, it could do with a lick of paint in certain areas. The location is amazing for walking to both Grasmere and Ambleside. We went to the local pub to watch the badgers. The grounds of Rydal Hall are beautiful and include the grot and a waterfall, Would stay again.”
“Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay.
