“We booked one of the nicer rooms. It seemed like a renovation project had been started but not finished. Half the wooden floor had been sanded and in places patched, the rest was stained. Shower was a clunky 70’s spa tub which ran hot and cold without any changes to the lever. Cupboard with glass doors was missing glass in one of them. Exterior of the hotel looked run down. “One of the few hotels in central Ambleside with lots of facilities which was a bonus. Although the sauna and steam room were a little chilly! Areas of the hotel were being upgraded with others still to do - bathrooms and main dining area.”

“スタッフはとても良かったです。 1号室の狭い部屋を予約したのは自分達の責任ですが、あまりにも狭すぎました。また、塩素？のような香りが強すぎて、ずっと窓を開けていましたが、香りに敏感な者にとっては、苦痛でした。シャワー、洗面台の排水が悪く水が流れにくく溢れそうになるまで、水が上がってきました。また、上の階の騒音が酷く、歩く音、トイレの音、シャワーの音が全てすごく響きました。洗面所のドアも壊れて閉まらなくなり、一晩開けっぱなしでした。流石に耐えかねて翌朝相談したら部屋を変更してくださいました。ご対応ありがとうございました。 朝食は美味しく、スタッフのお2人の対応は、とても良かったです。”
