This was a great place and worked out well for a long weekend with our extended. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We loved our time out on the lake, thankful the owner is willing to rent his pontoon out for guests to use. Definitely would recommend this place!

5 adults came to this area for a family reunion. Nice property! Lots of places for heads in beds & blankets galore! One high-pitched, squealing toilet in the basement all weekend that needs some TLC but otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

We stayed for 4 nights for our daughter’s wedding. Our group ranged between 5-12 across our stay and this was a PERFECT fit for our family…which also served as a gathering Gift Opening event. Guests who stayed elsewhere were able to come and go as they wanted to say their congrats again.The owner was outstanding! Answered all my pre-stay questions, super pleasant, and very accommodating! We would definitely consider staying here again should the opportunity arise. Hubby really wants a chance to rent the pontoon— he was super impressed. Unfortunately the winds were a bit strong and chilly to be able to rent it on the only day of our stay that was an option for us.Thank you Jacob! (And family) for a pleasant stay that was perfect to make our special wedding event even more memorable!

Fun week!

We really enjoyed our stay for our family vacation. Host was friendly and responsive. We also rented the Tri- toon, which was in great condition. We would stay again!

The location was perfect for family wedding. We enjoyed the front patio area the most. We walked to the lake and sat on the dock enjoying the sunset. Appreciated the property owner giving us accurate directions.

Great Stay!

Stayed the weekend for a wedding. Very nice place, owner was easy to contact and answered any questions. We really enjoyed our time and would recommend!

Although we didn't have time to use the lake it is a very nice place to enjoy a stay . We were their for a wedding which was close to the VRBO . We were a group of 7 but if all sleeping spots were used i believe it could be a group of 14 . Wished we had more time .

Great place for a weekend getaway

Had a fun time with extended family for the Amery Fall Festival. Loved being so close to the lake and to town! Cute place with lots to do for the fam. My kids and the adults loved playing soccer on the front little field. Would love to have a king size bed in one of the rooms by our next stay, wink wink:)

Cabin was great, yard was beautiful. City was close if you need anything. Jake the host was very friendly and helpful. Only thing I would call out is that there are steep stairs that lead down to the lake. So be prepared for that!

Amery house

We were in town for a funeral so needed a place where our family of 5 could stay comfortably and local family could come and visit. This house was perfect. The wrap around porch, yard and fire pit gave us plenty of space to reconnect with each other. The house itself was spacious, the kitchen was well stocked and it was very clean.

Lovely Stay for Family Reunion

My family and I had a wonderful 5 night stay! We had 6 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs. We all had our own spaces. The kids really enjoyed playing in the large yard. The home is a short walk to the lake. Renting the pontoon for a few days was one of our highlights. Very nice boat. Communication with the owner, Jake, was easy and prompt.

Wonderful Wisconsin Getaway

We gathered with our adult children and grandkids for the weekend and all enjoyed this home so much as there were spaces for all to gather and then quiet spaces when needed too. The home was close to good state park trails that were enjoyed for hikes during the day, and then back home where the fire pit and grill were enjoyed on Saturday night. We were very happy with this VBRO experience.

Be active or chill, this home has both!

Great place, super comfortable and excellent communication from the owner. Plenty of activities for all ages. Close enough where we had a family vacation but a few friends made a day trip up. Our dog loved the huge yard and soccer field for chasing her frisbee. You can sit and watch the sunset over the lake, the lake is pretty much not useable with out a boat though which was totally fine for us, but if you’re looking for lakefront the home is about a 2 min walk to the lake. Overall very satisfied with the stay and would book again!

Friends Weekend

Great space if you're looking for outdoor and indoor activities! The wrap around porch and fire pit areas were large and flat, making it easy to hang out there. We played a kickball game on the field connected to the property and the beach was an easy 7 minute drive away. We had a fairly large group and were able to bring our own air mattresses and fit them in the downstairs common space and up in the loft. The loft is open to the kitchen and living room areas so just don't put your light sleepers there. I would definitly go back :)
