Everything was stocked, you truly needed only the food you specifically wanted for the week. “I had a wonderful long weekend. The house was clean and had everything I needed. I loved being able to enjoy the outdoor space and it was made all the more enjoyable with the chickens. The location was perfect for the activities I wanted to do (reading, hiking, & bird watching!). I would definitely stay here again. ”

“This home was exactly like the listing. It was incredibly clean and had all of the necessities for the weekend. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The house is definitely updated, but still has the quaint charm of a Mt. Gretna cottage. The sofa and rocking chair on the front porch were so nice to relax in the evening and for morning coffee. “This year our stay at The Eliza Mae coincided with an intense heat wave. But true to the history of Mount Gretna, it was @ 8 degrees cooler there than in town. The porch fans and AC inside made it possible to still enjoy our stay. We had our traditional Ladies’ Night on the porch, as well as had several friends and relatives stop by during the week to enjoy the beauty and comfort of that spectacular front porch! “Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.”

“The room was so warm and welcoming. Soft music playing when we entered offered a tranquil atmosphere. Supplies for roasting marshmallows and a Keurig with plenty of coffee was a nice touch. Mints on the bed, and a hand held massager was a relaxing treat. This place was a cute romantic stay. Location was awesome- in the country away from crowds.
