“We went for 2 nights stay in May. Check in and communication was very good. The property was clean. It looked like renovation work took place recently. It was a pleasant stay. Only downside is that there are no good places to eat. We arrived about 8:30 pm and all the nearby places were closed for customers. This is no reflection on the property as it was as advertised.”

“We had a lovely week at Rooks Retreat - even got used to the rasping rooks! Wasn’t as close to Freshwater East as we hoped. It is possible to walk (up the lane from the cottage) towards Freshwater Inn, but there are some very steep steps to negotiate down onto the beach, takes about 45 minutes. “This lovely eco house is in a perfect location to visit Pembrokeshire. The house is in very good order, is well equipped and its 'tree top' location makes it that extra bit special. We were just four adults but it would be perfect for six people as it has three good sizes bedrooms. The location is perfect, if you can manage the 47 steps to the house, it is a very short walk to the village which has a number restaurants, pubs and a café. We would recommend.”

“We had a lovely stay in this well equiped one bed house / cottage. The views are amazing and so is the local area,this was our first trip to the area and Wales and we had a lovely time. Hilary was very helpful prior to our arrival and the small garden is a sun trap (sun burnt despite it only being 16 degrees) The only criticisms we had were the property could possibly do with Netflix or something similar, bit this wasn't a big deal. “The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and we felt at home right away. There was plenty of space for 3 generations of family and we loved the hot tub. No queues for bathrooms with 3 showers and 4 toilets in the property! Would recommend for a large family group.”
