Cozy and romantic apartment in captain's steering cabin

  • Este apartamento recientemente reformado se encuentra en los cuartos del capitán Ämsterdam Houthavens "del carguero. Es un lugar acogedor, romántico y confortable. El salón en la cabina de dirección del capitán sobre la cubierta ofrece una hermosa vista de 360 grados del antiguo Amsterdam Houthavens (puerto de madera), el IJ (el principal camino de agua hacia el puerto) y la ciudad. Debajo de la cubierta hay un área separada para dormir; un comedor / sala de estar con una cocina pequeña, pero totalmente equipada; y baño con ducha y WC.
    Todas las comodidades son completamente nuevas. Hay una conexión a internet. El apartamento tiene su propia entrada, una terraza con un antiguo caldero de fuego / barbacoa y una segunda terraza con asientos. Tiene una sensación de amplitud y hay un mar de tranquilidad. Un gran lugar para relajarse y ver pasar barcos de todos los tamaños y cisnes mientras el bote se balancea suavemente.
    ¡Es una excelente manera de explorar Ámsterdam a través de los canales!

Lovely stay in houseboat Dana, a wonderful oasis of calm just a few minutes from all the action of Amsterdam. Such a unique place to stay with everything you could possibly need for a short break. The hosting was great too, with excellent communication and information provided to make the stay even better. We’d definitely stay again when we are next visiting Amsterdam.

Hostess was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The Dana is a classic river barge - but ‘Griet has a great sense of priorities in the upgrades. Plumbing was a highlight.

Perfect house boat, super easy to communicate with the owner and get onto the boat! It is close to central station so super easy to get into the centrum. Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful on Dana’s Houseboat. She was fantastic & definitely spoiled us. Staying on the houseboat definitely made our incredible visit to Amsterdam even better!!

Dana was the perfect hostess and her boathouse was lovely. We had absolutely everything we needed and more. She really thinks about everything and is so toughtfull. Plus, we haven’t slept this well in a long time! l hope I will have the chance to go back one day because this is not only a stay, it’s an experience in it self! Marie-Josee and Olivier

A Perfect Week on a Charming Houseboat

We had an absolutely wonderful stay on this charming houseboat! The space was cozy, clean, and full of character—such a unique and peaceful way to spend a week. Our host was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Lovely stay in houseboat

Had a great couple of nights staying on the Dana. It was cosy and was great to be able to sit inside and cozy whilst watching the rain outside haha. Very comfy bed and friendly owner who even gave us more beer when we were out ;-) Would stay again.

Amazing Stay in Amsterdam

We had such an Amazing time staying here! The boat is absolutely beautiful, super comfortable and clean! It's in the perfect location and Dana was so kind and helpful! We hope we can come back and stay here again!!!

Great Boat House Experience

Dana is a great host and the location is spectacular if you want to tour the Jordan or be close to the Centraal station.We previously lived on our own small boat so were prepared for the continuous motion and the up an down on the ladder.

Im Hafen von Amsterdam

Sehr schön. Die Lage und der Ausblick war unglaublich schön. Als letztes Boot am Steg eine super Aussicht auf die Lichter des Hafens bei Nacht zu genießen war sehr romantisch und etwas ganz besonderes. Sehr nette Gastgeberin und perfektes Wetter.

Beautiful views

Wonderful views from the boat on a quiet dock. The host was very accommodating and responsive to questions. Proximity to ferries was nice and we enjoyed the experience of staying on a boat in Amsterdam.
