The location is prime, located conveniently right behind Tequila 61 with off street parking included (a rare find!) with the stay. Home is exactly as pictured and very comfortable for our trip.

Alaska Marathon

Bear and Raven Guest Suite was an excellent place to stay. Right downtown and within walking distance from shoos and restaurants. Beautiful suite with all the comforts of home! Highly recommend!

Great stay

Great location and communication w hosts. Good restaurants around and museums and shuttle at Visitors Center to Alaska Native Heritage Center is around the corner. Amazing museum inside and outside - really worth visiting!

Great place to stay

The apartment is very clean, stylish, and in super convenient location. The host Mary is very responsive and friendly. Staying in this beautiful place definitely made our trip more enjoyable.

Amazing find downtown

This was an amazing spot right downtown! Right in the middle of everything! And the apartment itself is very impressive and comfortable and is perfectly quiet considering the location. I can't wait to stay here again!

Alaskan getaway

We stayed here for the last leg of our honeymoon trip and it was perfect. It’s absolutely stunning. It’s also in a perfect location where we could just walk to great restaurants and shops. The owners are so helpful and are very responsive if you need anything. Would definitely recommend 10/10

Very Clean, Great host

We really enjoyed our stay, unfortunately we had to leave early but the place is very clean. Host is very responsive, I would definitely stay here again. Don’t hesitate you won’t regret it.

Perfect for us!

This space was beautiful and perfectly located. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Numerous eating choices, shops and local history nearby. Space was perfect for the 4 of us. It has plenty of amenities. Everything is in perfect condition. Management was wonderful to work with.

Lovely Apartment Downtown

I stayed here with two friends while we attended a conference at the Dena’ina Convention Center. The apartment is clean and modern, the owner is very communicative and helpful. The location is convenient. We walked to restaurants and the convention center. Downtown Anchorage is what it is, but I felt safe there and it was quiet. I would stay there again!

Great Anchorage Stay

Fabulous stay in the Anchorage apartment. It was beautiful, clean, well equipped and in the perfect location to explore Anchorage on foot. But when we needed a spot for a rental car it had that too. We were all happy with our choice and wouldn’t hesitate to rent this apartment again.

First let me say I don’t believe you will find a finer stay in downtown Anchorage than this hidden treasure. The beds are super comfortable, and the decor and amenities serve every purpose. The location is a perfect home base to explore Girdwood, Whittier, Seward and Hope. As far as downtown Anchorage you will be within walking distance to all of the best restaurants, shops, and hiking trails. The hostess, Mary is very kind and knowledgeable regarding the best of everything in Alaska. The kitchen is well stocked with modern appliances and dish-ware. The bathroom facility is super modern and hot water is always available. It doesn’t get any better than this. If Anchorage is in your plans, look no further than the Bear and Raven.

Wonderful!

My fiancé and I decided to elope to Alaska and I was tasked with finding a place to stay. After weeks of hunting, I found this apartment. The pictures are identical to what you’ll find here. It’s beautiful, clean, and housed three adults comfortably. It’s in a prime downtown location within walking distance of shops, restaurants, museums, tours—and breath taking views as soon as you step out of the door. The full kitchen and ability to do laundry were huge perks for us and the provided parking space was also very convenient. Our hostess Mary was very communicative and helpful as well. I highly recommend staying here, and hope to be back one day!

Booked this for a birthday trip for my daughter. Picked it for the locoation and price. However, this was an unexpected jewel!!! So clean and all the normal expected amenities X 2. I can't think of ANYTHING we might have needed which wasn't provided. The quality of the unit and all the furnishings were stellar. Mary (the property manager) was a gem and helped make our stay a 7star experience!

Location Location Location!

Stop looking. You’ve found what you’re looking for. This clean, modern two bedroom was perfect for my partner and I. There is a large bathroom with dual sinks providing ample space to get ready. The downtown location was central to the tour bus pick-ups, restaurants, and shopping. We didn’t need a car but there is off street parking which is an added bonus especially with a downtown location. Mary (the owner) and her husband (Buzz) are on site and very responsive. Mary is easily one of the kindest, sweetest VRBO owners I’ve had the privilege of meeting. This is a great launch pad for all Alaska has to offer. I will be coming back. Great for families of 4 & military friendly. Enjoy!

Downtown Anchorage

lovely apartment with all things you could use, easy to move around the area from the apartment, downside, there were no windows to let in fresh air, couldn't leave front door open as on main footpath and not overally safe, many drug users sat outside the apartment and were noisy and ignored the signs in place, the only other problem we had was the airconditioning, it is controlled by the restaurant next door in the parts of the apartment, so it was strong at certain times and unable to adjust, had a cold draft blowing until midnight in the bedrooms, Mary the owner tried to get it sorted but unfortunately had no luck. Mary has made the apartment very comfortable and was helpful
