Très beau séjour!

Nous avons passé une bonne semaine dans cette belle et grande maison. Le calme et l'emplacement est très reposants. Nous avons adoré la grande piscine. Pour les commodités petits villages à quelques minutes de voitures avec petits supermarchés.

Schönes Landhaus, etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Es ist eine großzügige, gepflegte Anlage mit viel Freifläche außen und vielen Räumen und Platz innen für viele Gäste (wir waren zu siebt). Das Landhaus befindet sich in einer ruhigen, ländlich geprägten Gegend. Ein Highlight waren der Pool, das Fahrrad, die Tischtennisplatte in der Scheune und die zwei Esel! Die Ankunft und die Begrüßung vor Ort war sehr nett und unkomplitziert. So schön das alte Haus ist, muss man doch erwähnen, dass es innen leicht modrig riecht, dass die alten Holzböden knarzen und auch einiges an Staub vorhanden ist. W-Lan war nicht in jedem Zimmer vorhanden, die Matrazen nach unserem Geschmack etwas hart, das Bad im OG sehr, sehr klein. Die defekte Wasserleitung dieses Bades sollte auch mal repariert werden! Die Küchenausstattung ist im großen und ganzen in Ordnung. Der Herd ist in der Ecke schlecht benutzbar, der Kühlschrank ist riesig. Die Kaffeemaschine wunderbar! Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub in einem etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Haus!

Outside was welcoming with good pool however the inside was disappointing. Upstairs the shower was "out of service" which should have been mentioned beforehand. The toilet in the same bathroom was VERY smelly and unpleasant. If one used the upstairs toilet (perhaps at night) one had to walk past 3 bedrooms, hallway, down two sets of stone stairs through the hall,dining room,sitting room, kitchen and toilet inorder to wash hands in the downstairs bathroom. Most unhygenic especially with a family. For the number of people this home sleeps, one usable bathroom is not sufficient and there was no washbasin in the toilet. The kitchen lighting was inadequate. The gas hob in the corner is badly placed next to the microwave and only one person could stand there. The hob light did not work nor did the extractor hood above the gas hob. Some utensils had cobwebs and dishes needed cleaning before use. This is understandable as there were so many utensils that not everything would have been used each time. It would have been nice to have had the fly catchers replaced rather than have to go out and buy some and replace them ourselves (not knowing what to look for) as there appeared to be lots of flies. The BBQ was not clean and my husband spent quite a time trying to rectify this before use. As we were not able to open the app sent to us, we were not aware that we needed to provide linen and towels. This was not a problem as we were were able to hire from the lady who gave us the key. We have rented property in France for many years, often with 10 members and have never needed to complain or comment so it was rather disappointing this time. It would also have been a nice gesture to have a few essentials on the table for arrival. There was also an absence of any literature regarding working of equipment so it was trial and error. We would be obliged if you would return our deposit as soon as possible and with a discount. Sincerely John and Hilary Figge

Zeer fijne vakantie

Wij hebben genoten van een heerlijke vakantie. Bij onze aankomst op het prachtige domein stonden de conciërge en zijn vrouw ons op te wachten voor een zeer uitgebreide rondgang in het huis met de nodige informatie. Alles was aanwezig zoals beloofd en in orde! De kinderen hebben zich bijzonder geamuseerd, alsook de hond had een mooie tijd! Een verblijf om zeker te herhalen!!

Week-end entre amis

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end entre amis dans cette charmante demeure. Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil à l’arrivée, comme au départ. La maison est bien équipée et bien entretenue. La piscine chauffée est un vrai plus à cette période. Bref, c’etait parfait et nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Une maison très charmante. Tout est très bien entretenu. La cuisine est entièrement équipée, un grand barbecue à l’extérieur avec de jolis sièges à l’extérieur. Grande piscine chauffée avec beaucoup de jardin pour se détendre. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour relaxant. Un accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée, cartes et documentation sur la région mises à notre disposition. Excellent!

We had a wonderful stay in Andelot-Blancheville. Friendly people welcomed us and were close by if needed. The house "The Cedars" breathes history and the wooden floors upstairs have a very pleasant smell. The bathroom on the first floor is new with a comfortable shower. Great clean swimming pool with hardly any chlorine. We enjoyed the spacious garden, the (almost ripe) plums and of course the practical gas barbecue.

French countryside at its best!

Had a wonderful week in Andelot-Blancheville. We were met by Bernadette and taken through the property and shown where everything was. It is a charming house very much in the French style but has great modern extras, the fantastic HEATED swimming pool being the highlight. We had a large clean gas bbq too which was great. The downstairs bathroom is a little dated but was clean and practical. The upstairs shower room is modern. The only downside was the flies (which is out of everyone's control) luckily we brought umbrella food covers with us and purchased hanging fly killers while there. Other than that we we had a lovely week and would recommend going.

Prachtig en groot huis in een rustige omgeving

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in het landhuis. Het huis is zeer ruim en was schoon. Vooral buiten was top. We hadden het zwembad voor onszelf. Op het terras bij het zwembad een heerlijke lounge set met overkapping waar verlichting in zit. Hierdoor konden we 's avonds lekker lang buiten blijven. De kinderen hebben gesmuld van de rode bessen die ze zelf mochten plukken. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen een uitgebreide rondleiding. Toen de stroom een keer uitviel stond er na een telefoontje binnen 3 minuten iemand voor de poort en was het probleem snel verholpen. In de omgeving is veel prachtige natuur en mooie oude steden om te bezichtigen. Zeker een plek om nog eens terug te komen.

Leven als royalty

Fantastisch! Hele gastvrije ontvangst van de eigenaren met rondleiding, thee/koffie en koekjes. Huis is voorzien van alle gemakken. In de omgeving veel mooie wandelingen. Wij hebben ontzettend genoten en dat geldt ook voor de hond!

Une propriété très agréable et avec beaucoup de charme ! Idéal pour un séjour à la campagne. Nous avions loué pour 8 personnes et la maison a été fortement appréciée de tous. Un accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée, cartes et documentation sur la région mises à notre disposition. La location est conforme à l'annonce. Un jardin très spacieux et agréable permettant de se reposer et de profiter de la piscine. Nous avons passé un excellent weekend pleins de souvenirs ! Je suis très satisfaite et n'hésiterai pas à revenir, je la conseille sans hésitation !
